Believe this car had DR, getting more pics and details. This was Saturday 2nd round of ET's or maybe last run 1st round unsure.. The previous night lots of races. Appeared lots of rubber at strip launch point it was warm seemed surface very sticky. How is it that dodge and the media beat the crap out of these cars doing passes all day long and had no problems and now these cars are falling apart ??
Axle ring at CV joint.Wonder what that piece is? Part of driveshaft assembly?
come on man little hard on the catHow is it that dodge and the media beat the crap out of these cars doing passes all day long and had no problems and now these cars are falling apart ??
I tend to think FCA has warrantied these so I hear. Wonder if it will last, that might be happening to not cause negative media spin while the car is such a hot topic and so new.Warranty time![]()
You can look at it that way, get that. These weren't built exclusively to race either imo most won't be (on a strip.) If it was purpose built to exclusively race, it wouldn't be public road legal. So tradeoffs are there. But think it can be customized to race so that's a + to me.Great.. $65 k car with 707 hp! Sign me up! But wait! To be actually be able to use that power and not break everything, you need to throw another $5k at it.

But I hear ya rather have it all without extra spend but is that realistic here? Guess that's how you look at it could be answered many ways.
Uh, ok... Somebody needs to read this person their owners manualWhen a car is advertised as "The Most Powerful Musclecar. Ever" and has a NHRA 1/4 mile certification in the ad, I would say, yes, these WERE built to be raced.
Didn't see that being done with wide drag radials at low air pressure. So not stock comparison comment. That said we can hope FCA does something in future runs that strengthens drive train? At what width and air pressure? Do we see this happening with stock rated setup (stock rated DR stock rated air pressure?) Or moreso after people deviate from that? Please re read the Dodge ad. Clearly gives an "ET with drag radials" notation...
