Three things here. The ZL1 was likely faster than the HC... if not, it was really close. Second, the Hellcat weighs 600-800lb more. Third, the street settings are for comfort, not performance. Exception being suspension on street settings allows for the best weight transfer during a launch. But the trans street setting has a longer delay on shift times to purposely make the shifts softer.

Hello everyone I previously purchased a hellcat charger widebody, had a camaro lt1 and the hellcat on a 60 roll on street trans feels slower and sluggish than my LT1.
Are you indicating that the vehicle feels slower/sluggish on the street than the LT1? Or are you indicating that your vehicle feels slower/sluggish with the transmission in "Street Mode" than the LT1?

Same experience. Might be the 600 pound weight difference....

Put the transmission in track mode. Now take four full sized humans for a ride. Not just a ride around the block, but the you just inherited a tire factory kind of ride. All the pieces of the puzzle will come together.

Two different cars here, the Maro is going to "feel" faster because it's smaller and lighter. The Camaro does “feel” faster but a lot of that is just human perception based on design factors. It’s the perception of speed in the way the Camaro is designed.

With the Camaro, it sits a little lower than the Hellcat and the interior is smaller and has a more cockpit feel. The butt surface of the seat in the Camaro is closer to the pavement than the Cat and has a clearer view of the pavement in front of the car. This really enhances your perception of speed in the Camaro making it "feel" quicker.

Op trust me your 717 HP Hellcat IS definitely faster than your 455 HP LT1. I've raced an SS Camaro with some boltons and e-85 and still beat it with my stock Cat.

As others have said you can try it in "Track transmission" and the car is much more alive. The car in "street trans" basically feels lazy since it's the more tame setting.

Not apples to apples. Street tune on the Hellcat is intentionally doggy and is prob ‘detuned‘ further than than the Camaro relatively speaking is all. You cannot compare different tunes from different manufacturers in different engines. They are completely different animals.

I had a ‘18 Camaro 2SS before I bought my Hellcat Widebody and they’re two different animals. The Camaro is a lot lighter, quick and fast sports car. I went from 75 to 150 (it could’ve done 175 that night easy) in a very short time a few years ago at night in the chilly air. I was impressed with the 6th gen. Camaros. I can imagine how much faster a ZL1 is lol

And my Hellcat Challenger Widebody is a high HP/TQ muscle car. It’s F’kn awesome!! I haven’t top ended/top speed that car. I know when my luck is gonna run out. I have gone 153 in it just cruising. Didn’t have it floored. I like shifting with the paddle shifters is what I meant by cruising. I love my Hellcat. It’s a blast. It sucks have to put it away for the winter.

And I always drive in Sport or Track modes.

ZL1 is night and day compared to an SS, much like a Hellcat is to a Scat Pack
