I just bought my 2016 Hellcat and I’m currently deployed with the Marine Corps. So I had to have my father help purchase the car for me, so after reviewing everything the car looked like it was in great condition. Once it was brought home I noticed there was a scratch on top of the front splitter, I know it’s nothjng major but has anyone had this issue and if so how did you fix it, any solution can help I’d just like to keep this car in pristine condition! He’s already tried back to black but it seems like a fairly decent scratch, what’s the best option? Paint? Steel wool and try to work it out? New splitter? Etc. thank you guys

Photos would help. Hard to give advice just based on text. Without more (and probably even if there are photos), Terry's got it - if you really want it to be perfect, replace it.

Agreed... replace it. The air dam is basically a "wear item" on these cars.

Between navigating driveways and parking blocks, they can take a beating.

The are relatively cheap and available on-line or thru the dealer... Air Deflector - Mopar (68258747AC)

Thats exactly what I think I'll end up doing does anybody know the process or how much it would possibly cost to replace from a dealer or auto shop? I just have no knowledge of this right now and can't find any info being out of the country currently

This is what it looks like, after the back to black it seemed to fade a bit but its still slightly noticeable

Replace it. Fairly cheap. Can always get some of that Vinyl/plastic restorer and see how it goes, or even have it painted to match your car (some on the forum have done that, and they look great).

I would replace it. I am going to replace mine too. It was a leftover 2016 and I guess the splitter protectors were left on it so long and it was outside some. There are outlines of both protectors on the splitter that will not come off. I’ve tried everything to clean it and it just won’t come off. Also I noticed a scratch on the bottom right hand side to boot. So Im just gonna replace with a new one.

Adam,

Sorry buddy I really don't have any idea on what that Part cost nor what a Dealer or a Body-Shop would charge to install it. :(

I can say though just give whatever Dodge Dealership your nearest a quick call to the Service Department and ask to speak to what's called a, Service Advisor.
That person can find the above out for you and give you a call back with the actual Cost involved for Parts and Labor. :)

I'd try a little plastic polish and buff first. Then replace if that didn't work.
