An award I didn't really want: I may be spending the most for Saturday pleasure drives - averaging $40 to $60 an outing for my HC.
Today I gave the Chevron pump $72!!!! Ouch. But no matter... track mode on, windows down, Harmon Karden blasting, engine screaming, and no speeding ticket ... it was a day of bliss!!!!

It was about $70 last time I filled my Hellcat. It was about $3.70/gal for ethanol-free 93 octane.

When I go to MIR, I add four gallons of their Sunoco GT Plus 104 to about a half tank of the ethanol-free 93 octane. The Sunoco GT Plus 104 was $10/gal last time I got some at the track. That's $40 for only four gallons but I would like to assume it helps keep the engine happy. :)

Pay to play, filled up my boat yesterday, 575.00. Ill use half of it this weekend alone.

You only live once.

sold my whaler last summer. It was a 25 foot outrage with twin 175s. Try 2mpg at 30 mph and youd think your hellcat was a prius. You didnt even take it out for under a 100 bucks. It got real old. Id have people along fishing ect and pull up to the dock to fill up and theyd say "Ill help" and when the pump read 300 bucks or more theyd had me a 20 that didnt even cover the beer of mine they drank. No bigger money pit then a boat. Not only for fuel but upkeep too. I might sometime in the future pick up a 17 footer with a 100 or so hp 4 stroke but never a big one again. You think cars depreciate. Try a boat.

Just filled up this morning. Nearly $80 to fill the tank. Trip odometer showed 8 hours and change for elapsed time, so I'm paying just under $10 per hour to drive my cat.

Still way cheaper than a weekend in Vegas.

I thought this thread had about 30 posts on it last night. What happened?
