I decided to dig into the Viper ranks and I had a chance to talk to an insider at Dodge this weekend, reason for the hold up is a legal issue with the Hellcat name, sounds funny it has gotten this far but that's it, also the cars will be changed for sunroofs, top getting modified for flex issues.
Again this is what I was told not something read on the World Wide Web..

I believe what you were told and you are passing the info to us. Thank you. But I just don't believe that could be true. They are marketing the product on TV, internet and all other places. If indeed there was an infringement that would all be shut down. I know a little bit about copyright infringement and not a chance they would get this far. I would like to hear from "Smitty" and "RS" on this one.

Can't be real specific, all are minor. 1 involves a simple reflash for the manual trans, another is final certification for auto trans models.
