Hello everyone,, What are your thoughts about our hellcat's living up to the hype, Is the car going to be all that every one is building it up to be. I for one stay up at night thinking about what I will do when it arrives. But after watching the guy from CNET, He didn't seem overly excited, Does anyone think it will not perform to what we have in ours minds and hearts we hope it will....

I think it's living up to the hype. It's a true modern day muscle car. Very few out there that can wear that title proudly and back it up. I went and test drove a 2015 RT today, my first time ever in a Challenger. I was impressed by the quality interior, fit and finish and space.

I have no doubt that the car it's self is top self,, I'm taking about the power , not talking about media coverage,, real people ,, like the ones buying the car.

For the masses I think the power lives up to the hype, probably the most powerful thing they've ever driven. For others 707 is just a starting point. Lol

Screw those other people! Who cares what they think. This is a group of Mopar loving muscle car freaks! :D OF COURSE it will live up to our expectations and that is what matters. Just about everyone on this forum has or had a Mopar previously and loved it. The Challenger and Charger are sexy and add the Hellcat to that and you have the sexiest beast ever! Dude from CNet is lame.

I drove a 2014 Challenger SRT with a six speed manual today. My first time in a challenger as well. It really impressed me and was very powerful - it would chirp the tires going into 3rd even with traction control on. I can't imagine what the Hellcat will be like with an additional 220+HP.

It has exceeded my expectations. I need to get better tires for it (mine came with all season tires) and I'm certain I'll be even more satisfied with the car.

The Hellcat is exceeding all expectations at being a garage decoration...... Hopefully in the summer it will live up to the expectations of being the most awe enspiring car on the road
same here. I have 2ft of snow outside my window. managed to put almost 300 miles on car. took it easy with the car as its cold and traction isn't the best. still managed to make my socks go up and down a few times .lol

I absolutely love mine. Now my daily driver I can't get enough of it. Especially cool since gas is so cheap now. Never intended to drive every day but doesn't bother me. I bought it to enjoy.
you driving in snow? I think not. glad you are getting good use out of your car. I don't even want anyone sitting in passenger seat, but do smoke a cigar in mine . sunroof comes in handy.
