Idk if I'm going crazy or what but my 2020 widebody scat seems to have been a ton louder than my 22 cat. Scat was stock but in track mode it got really loud and had some pops here and there. With the cat in track mode it seems the only way to have a loud sound is to gun it from first and keep it depressed but I don't feel like sitting there roasting the tires just to hear some oomph. The scat would be crazy loud punching it anywhere from 25-45 but punching it in the cat at cruising speed seems to do nothing.

Is this just how things are with the hellcats? I seen a lot of people here asking how to make it quieter but even the cold start sound is lacking compared to my old scat.

Not specifically in track, but I had a 2020 widebody charger SP that I traded for a 2021 Redeye Charger. I’d agree that the SPWB sounded a little louder. I figured that was because the SPWB has a bigger engine than the hellcat.

My memory of my 2018 Hellcat vs. my 2020 Scat Pack is the Scat Pack exhaust is louder. I had no desire to make my Hellcat louder and I likewise have no desire to make my Scat Pack quieter.
