Figured I'd start a tracking thread for anyone who has a cat on order. I recently ordered mine as have a few others here. We can put our info in & edit it at any time as info becomes available. This way anyone can get an idea of how long it may take. For anyone who has recently received their car, you can fill in info as well to help others with time lines. I'll start with mine.

I guess I'll add my story in here now, ordered from Jake on Monday and got the VON that day. Today (Thursday) it went into D status and got a VIN. Was exciting as it became more real, For us old timer mopar guys, my vin ends in 318 😎
That and 360 - too cool!

Well the wait for the car wasn't too bad, however the wait for Chrysler to fund this loan, so Jake can ship it, is excruciating lol. Going on 2 weeks waiting for them to get this check over.
Quick question; how are you getting it shipped (enclosed car carrier, open car carrier, Bubba's Fine Car Shipping who's motto is "We Lifted a 4WD and Rented a U-Haul Car Dragger - We Got You Covered)?
Just received a text from my sales guy. It is a 2021 and it is in D status.

I was really suprised to get a VIN that quickly. Perhaps the fact it is a base car with only BM wheels as an option made a difference. It was ordered through a Lithia dealership and Lithia is one of the largest Dodge dealer groups, so maybe a plus.

Regardless, I'm like a kid at Christmas!
Are you a cash buyer and; paid in full already (contingent upon/held in escrow until passing the receiving inspection)?
Might as well be but no, I buy enough vehicles from them they ordered it with no deposit as a sold unit. Don't know if that matters though.

Reliabily returning customer might be an metric. If you were running a multi-billion company, would you spend $300K in burdened costs to increase annual revenue by $1M+?

(Or would $700K+ be lost in the noise?)

Deposit/money is between the dealer and customer.
Now if you're a famous person, that may have some pull.

What kind of utopian bubble do you live in?

Asking for a friend....and historical archives. :p
Ordered June 4th & quickly got a VIN within a week.
I went from status D, to D1, to E....
THEN I got a notice saying "Your order has been cloned and is following an enhanced and prioritized production schedule."
I got a "New VIN" with no real explanation...& now I have been back in D status for the past 5 weeks.
Like Really?
It done blowed up during the test run :D

Sorry to all who ordered 2022 Models
Didn't think the 2022s could be ordered yet.
Update: Ordered in Glendale CA on 12/10, dealer submitted order 12/12, checked today, 12/29, dealer updated me with VIN and POC.

Still a long way, but never...ever found a VIN to be as sexy as this one!

There's a dealer in San Diego offering 3% under invoice. How did Glendale treat you?
Which dealer is that???
Check your PM
Glendale was good...$1500 below MSRP. No games, no run around, no surprise figures...guy was great and did exactly what he said he would. I was in and out in about 20 mins. I looked everywhere...bay area, valley, SD area...no one would match...I did not look all over SD tho.
It was actually my wife who found the guy. She showed him one of the 4% invoices from here and he said he could do 3%.

Also, he followed up with aknowledgement it would be okay to pass along his info here and the same 3% would apply to all.

Received my VIN today.

Anybody know what sales code "4UQ" with a description of "T3AC" is? shows up as $125 under the FWP but $0 for MSRP.
What is the priority code? (lower tight corner of the config sheet) Or, are they all "01" as a Sold Order?
I didn't get a new sheet, just the VIN via email. I can request it.
Kind of curious.

My dealer sent me the config sheet. Gives me the warm-n-fuzzy to see my name as the Buyer. :D
With the VIN, the Customer can also contact Doge through chat feature to get a status
Code:
 for the vehicle.
Sure, he might put two to five car links on you from any start, but you’ll always have a smile driving your charger around. I love the look of indigo blue with the satin black hood, roof, trunk. The charger with 2 color contrast, awesome look. Let the wait begin!!! I think I watched every youtube video having to do with the Hellcat, while waiting 4 months. :)
but have you downloaded and read all the owners manuals at least four times yet?
Not a brush off.

it has to do with set-up.

if the company offered a unique, special order color which was forecasted to have a run of 100 cars over the model year, the company might wait until 33% of the forecasted number are ordered before reconfiguring the paint shop for said color.

if estimates here are close and they’re assembling 400 chargers per day(?), you might need to wait until a week’s worth of other cars are ordered with a particular option you selected (maybe 2,000 with the Jailbreak option for example)

typically this is known as time-phasing in the production / assembly world.

^^^ This is why you do agree upon a percentage (ie, "3% under invoice"). Make a price agreement.
in my case, the agreement was 3% under invoice rounded down to the nearest $100 mark.

as i tell those below me, define the absolutes, do not leave the final definitions for others to decide.

Anybody get a new, upgraded, status from their salesperson today? I mean, if the assembly plant opened today logic would dictate, at least a few cars would be nearing completion of the assembly. :p
