That and 360 - too cool!
That and 360 - too cool!I guess I'll add my story in here now, ordered from Jake on Monday and got the VON that day. Today (Thursday) it went into D status and got a VIN. Was exciting as it became more real, For us old timer mopar guys, my vin ends in 318 😎
Quick question; how are you getting it shipped (enclosed car carrier, open car carrier, Bubba's Fine Car Shipping who's motto is "We Lifted a 4WD and Rented a U-Haul Car Dragger - We Got You Covered)?Well the wait for the car wasn't too bad, however the wait for Chrysler to fund this loan, so Jake can ship it, is excruciating lol. Going on 2 weeks waiting for them to get this check over.
Are you a cash buyer and; paid in full already (contingent upon/held in escrow until passing the receiving inspection)?Just received a text from my sales guy. It is a 2021 and it is in D status.
I was really suprised to get a VIN that quickly. Perhaps the fact it is a base car with only BM wheels as an option made a difference. It was ordered through a Lithia dealership and Lithia is one of the largest Dodge dealer groups, so maybe a plus.
Regardless, I'm like a kid at Christmas!
Might as well be but no, I buy enough vehicles from them they ordered it with no deposit as a sold unit. Don't know if that matters though.
Reliabily returning customer might be an metric. If you were running a multi-billion company, would you spend $300K in burdened costs to increase annual revenue by $1M+?Might as well be but no, I buy enough vehicles from them they ordered it with no deposit as a sold unit. (Or would $700K+ be lost in the noise?)
Deposit/money is between the dealer and customer.
Now if you're a famous person, that may have some pull.
It done blowed up during the test runOrdered June 4th & quickly got a VIN within a week.
I went from status D, to D1, to E....
THEN I got a notice saying "Your order has been cloned and is following an enhanced and prioritized production schedule."
I got a "New VIN" with no real explanation...& now I have been back in D status for the past 5 weeks.
Like Really?
Didn't think the 2022s could be ordered yet.Sorry to all who ordered 2022 Models
Update: Ordered in Glendale CA on 12/10, dealer submitted order 12/12, checked today, 12/29, dealer updated me with VIN and POC.
Still a long way, but never...ever found a VIN to be as sexy as this one!
Check your PMWhich dealer is that???
It was actually my wife who found the guy. She showed him one of the 4% invoices from here and he said he could do 3%.Glendale was good...$1500 below MSRP. No games, no run around, no surprise figures...guy was great and did exactly what he said he would. I was in and out in about 20 mins. I looked everywhere...bay area, valley, SD area...no one would match...I did not look all over SD tho.
Kind of curious.I didn't get a new sheet, just the VIN via email. I can request it.
for the vehicle.
but have you downloaded and read all the owners manuals at least four times yet?Sure, he might put two to five car links on you from any start, but you’ll always have a smile driving your charger around. I love the look of indigo blue with the satin black hood, roof, trunk. The charger with 2 color contrast, awesome look. Let the wait begin!!! I think I watched every youtube video having to do with the Hellcat, while waiting 4 months.![]()
^^^ This is why you do not agree upon a percentage (ie, "3% under invoice"). Make a price agreement.
in my case, the agreement was 3% under invoice rounded down to the nearest $100 mark.
as i tell those below me, define the absolutes, do not leave the final definitions for others to decide.
