Hey what’s up everyone. I’m pretty new on the waiting list for the hellcat. I’ve ordered mine 3 weeks ago and was told it could take up to 3 months. Just curious to see what you guys were experiencing in wait times.

I was told it would be a 3 month wait but I would think I would have an update on a vin or something (I didn’t even know there was a tracking website we could check) how can I make sure that my car is “in the process” of being made?

You will get a vin once your order has been accepted by Dodge. At least I did when Chapman place my order.

How long does that usually take? I hate bothering people (my salesman) but I will if It’s on my dime lol

I ordered a Indigo blue HCWB with brass monkey wheels, sepia interior and sunroof on 4/1, got my VIN a few days later and just moved into scheduled to build on 5/31.

No vin at 3 weeks 🤬 lol I spoke with my salesman earlier this week and he told me “Nothing yet. They are supposed to start building again at the end of this month. So we should see some movement in the next week or so” I asked him so no vin either? His response was “Yeah, nothing has changed yet. Everything should start moving in the next couple weeks. They stopped production for a little bit so I have orders waiting since April for production to start back up. I’m being told the end of June, they are back to building” I’ve been lurking a little on here and was reading about some guy not getting his order fulfilled or something like that so it just makes me nervous and I’m also trying cash out on this $1000 big ones dodge is giving out lol

Well.. I made it 1 month and half a week in D status before buying off the lot. Dealer called about a widebody hellcat that someone couldn't buy bc they were 30k upside down on their trade. I worked them hard over a day and a half but walked out with MSRP + tax/title.

They started out with 10k ADM + dealer add-ons. I just stuck to my guns of I can wait and ended up with an awesome deal 😎

Yeah no worries. I was 93k out the door on it. WBHC Charger, hellraisin, (standard) red calipers, moon roof, Hardman Kardman, Alcantara seats door panels and steering wheel, brass monkey wheels, navigation package, and midnight black badging. I think that's everything but I might be missing something. I will edit if there is something I'm not thinking of at the moment. Ride those dealers and don't accept anything that isn't MSRP!

What's your build? That's a great deal for redeyes and above if that's what you got. Also, the only option I didn't get would be the real carbon/suede headliner package. If you got that, it would put our deals along the same line (for non-redeye). If that's a jailbreak, you stole it 😜

Haha I wish I got the jailbreak I just got a wbhc fully loaded and yes sounds about right on pricing!

And just as I feared...called dealer to confirm originally agreed on OTD, which was back in December...I had a feeling dealer was going to pull something with such a cost increase over last year...sure enough...tried to tell me our agreement was $1500 off the MSRP when the the car arrived...i said nah man, here's the signed documents, although not binding...still ..he just said OK "I'll talk to my manager see what he says" ... motherfr man! I may not be going to pick up.... preparing myself to walk away...smh.

Ngl if that’s all they added I wouldn’t be that upset lol

Just a little motivation for the guys that are waiting to get built. As you can see, I ordered late but we are getting our cars fellas. And this is from a very small dealership in my hometown. Still no build date since my order on Feb 25th…
Koons is of no help, emailed Dodge care service a month ago by email, no response. Contacted Dodge Care again yesterday by phone, started another ticket. I don’t expect anything from this.

Have you guys tried asking your dealership?My sales guy sucks but when I want an answer I call everyone there and make a stink about what’s taking so long?! Ironically I get movement the next day. Hope that helps
