I placed an order for a 2022 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody May 7th 2022, and I only have the VIN and i’m still stuck In D status, what’s going on? or I’m I about to move status any time now?

I would suggest patience is needed ---- you have just started the great adventure!!! (you could now wait for months, as hard as that seems)

Ordered mine 3/1 and took delivery 8/3. If your’s follows same time frame, you have another two months. It’s worth the wait.

Kind of glad to see that I'm not the only one being screwed. Should have ordered from Koons. I used to live up there in Reston, VA. They are a shitty dealership but i will say i have never seen a dodge dealership get so many hellcats.

After 269 days and my complaining! Dodge felt bad and decided to start my build! 😆. I know it's going to be another couple of months until I receive the car but at least this is a step forward.

That's true, unfortunately I might have the record for the longest 2022 built lol. Yea I got it with Koons so at least my price was locked. I got it under invoice so its a good deal!

I spoke with my dealer today and they said the site was having some issues with the tracking not updating but it’s now fixed it to be accurate. Does anyone with inside knowledge know if there are certain options that can cause delays on HCWB Chargers?

Sunroofs are the most common option that causes delays

The dealer will have the most up to date status. With you car not being scheduled yet, I would say just continue to be patient. Seems like everyone is waiting 4-5 months smh 🤦🏾‍♂️

Damn hopefully i get scheduled soon as the 4 month pass by which is like in 2 weeks🤦🏾‍♂️

I do not think the tracker is up to date for everyone. My car says still in production but I was just told by my dealer that my vehicle is in transit.

I agree with your statement. Koons recently told (a week ago) me my car was on transit but the tracker still says its in production.

it’s safe to say that it gets updated every week or so? not live moment.

Order tracker went from built status the past couple months to delivered yesterday. Tracker is not updating regularly.

I’m with you plus a few months. I’ve been in D status since 12/7/21. They haven’t built many RE Charges this year, way more standard HC Charges and a few more JBs. Prices have gone up twice since placing my order. Good Luck!

I'm thinking about those people that ordered just a few months ago. Have to wonder, are they really going to delver them all? A bunch of 21's were cancelled, I hope they got 22's. I hope the early orders will come through but the longer this goes the more worrisome it looks.

True if you ordered your before July your car is getting built for sure, but if you placed an order In beginning of august there is always a chance of getting canceled just like last year with the August orders

Last year I ordered a HC NB on 8/10 and had it by 9/18. I sold that car and ordered a RE NB on 8/19/22 and I’ve been told it will take about 3 months to get.

if anything they make the cars even faster towards the end of the year.
