Humpa Humpa!!!
Humpa Humpa!!!
Probably not a lot of help but mine shows the price protection right on the build sheet. Listed with the options. Pretty hard for them to get it of it that way! But I don't have a car yet either!Looking for potential remedies for dealing with Dealership that won't honor agreed upon OTD when I ordered. Got signed purchase order and build sheet, although not binding, still should stand for something! Anyone else dealt with this? How did you handle it? Anyone familiar with FCA Price Protection Policy? Saw recently (5/2022) that FCA does carry one, and dodge is subject to it...just having hard time locating actual policy...Dodge chat shady AF, said "that information no longer exists on our site"...WTF???
3AC Price Protection - Code CWhat the code on that? I don't see it...just got the 4EA - sold order
Hmmm, I wonder. Could be difference from Canada to U.S. . Honestly not sure though. Would look like it!My build sheet has Sales code: 4UQ. The description for this is T3AC. Do you think it's the same thing?
I'm same boat as you except ordered February.Me since May fuvcking 7th still D status, getting my hopes down now:/ i prob wont even get scheduled at this point
Honestly so long I don't remember all! Jailbreak, no sunroof, sinamon stickDang even worse🤦🏾♂️what specifically did you order?
I hope so!!Jailbreak... thats why you will most likely get scheduled this week. hopefully
I tried emailing and got nothing back.Dealer told me today that all 22 orders in D status will be built.
That said it’s been said somewhere in this thread an email address to send an email to to ask about my build. Can someone help me out?
I’m in D but not D1 and I’m still in TBD for scheduling. Been since 3/14.
And of course, I can't find the email in my sent box!I tried emailing and got nothing back.
😂 thanks for looking!
Not sure about south of the border, but up here if they can build but are short an item or 2, Dodge will contact the dealer and ask if there would be an option to change to a different color etc.VIN/Confirmed order on Sep 2 2022. I know a couple of folks that got confirmed just before and after my date, that are in D1 already or in build.
I've been advised that I have a less common combination of parts, so my VIN can sit at D for a while as Dodge procures them. One such part is yellow brake calipers. Not too many of them out there, relatively. It takes longer for the parts vendors to fulfill those types of orders. Those parts have to come in or be committed to ship by a certain date, before my VIN can move into D1.
I'm beginning to worry a bit about getting cancelled with the end of the model year's production coming up soon.
That said, I'm keeping hope alive!
I have only heard of one myself. But I have been told that it happens. If it happened for one, then it's true. I think a lot depends on if allocation or no allocation.Alright this is kinda off-topic but it does coincide with some concerns with MY22 order(s). Has anyone ordered any MY21 SP or HC's but had their orders cancelled AND was assigned a VIN? I know I'm not the only person that had their salesperson show strong conviction that having a VIN will have a likely chance of it getting scheduled, let alone in production.
My order was placed on 8/23, assigned a VIN next day, then emailed by Dodge of the order received.
From what I can tell it depends on where you seen the window sticker. If that makes any sense! If it's on the dodge site, nobody knows. If it's on the vin decoder site or app, then I think it's built. My window sticker showed up also this morning. What status code do you think it's in when the window sticker shows up?
The stress!!!! Crying outloud! Hopefully it's all true and comes through! I think it will.Welp! Just got a text from my dealer today and if this is true, the other 3 took more than one for the team! 🫡 I’ll keep anyone posted when the order tracker updates with the status. View attachment 606370
Agreed! No allocation-no vin. I am not sure why it happens, but it has happened to others in D status. I placed my order in March for a bone stock Challenger WB Redeye and I am still in D with a vin. Hope it gets built, becuase 23 is a Sh*&show.
Ya, I don't know what to think about the whole allocation thing. I do know that there are ways you can get one without an allocation and I think that has alot to do with who you know. I also think a huge part of it is a person's sales guy. Honestly, the whole thing is really kinda messed up.I do think there was something funny about Dodge allocation methodology last year. This leads me to believe that not all allocations are equal, but I do not have anything to base that on-other than instinct. There are a couple dealers (mine included) that took a boat load of special orders, and I would think that if any orders did not get built it would be from those dealers-but then again they are the top dealers and received the most 23 allocations-so who knows.
AlbertaI don't think the sales guy makes a difference. Canada might be different though.
Where in Canada are you from?
Congrats on that beauty!
Ya, I'm in the same boat. Never even thought of it before!OK, so now that we know the cars are going to get built.
What are some of the requests we should look out for when delivered, I remember someone talking about prep vs no prep etc but I can't find it anymore. I DO NOT want a front license plate holder mounted, who should I tell? What other things should I be aware of with the dealership and getting a new car? I've always bought used and private party, this is my first ever splurge on a new vehicle so I don't know how they "prep" it.
