Figured I'd start a tracking thread for anyone who has a cat on order. I recently ordered mine as have a few others here. We can put our info in & edit it at any time as info becomes available. This way anyone can get an idea of how long it may take. For anyone who has recently received their car, you can fill in info as well to help others with time lines. I'll start with mine.

Yep, I have an order in with Koons since 12/6. Not a heavenly optioned Charger WBRE. Anyone have an ETA from build date to delivery? May not be a question that can be answered.

I have had one on order since 12-6, Charger RE with Koons, Octane Red if color has anything to do with the build sequencing. Still waiting to move to D1.

Tint and ceramic coating are done. Now I need to know what catback exhaust I can buy that will retain the warranty on the car. Any advice?

Welcome to the wait. I’ve been in D since 12/6. Charger RE Octane Red. Eventually these will be built, fingers crossed. If I had to guess the production numbers will be low for 2022’s, so we got that going for us.

Looks like we are in a similar situation although I am able to see mine in the Dodge Tracker. I ordered mine right before the JB option was available for ordering.

Unfortunately the answer is yes. Erica at Koon‘s has been good with updates when I inquire. I asked a month ago, joking that my must be the oldest order in the system still in D, she said oh no, there are still ones from Nov.

Please keep the pictures coming of the deliveries.

I’m with you plus a few months. I’ve been in D status since 12/7/21. They haven’t built many RE Charges this year, way more standard HC Charges and a few more JBs. Prices have gone up twice since placing my order. Good Luck!

It does test one’s patience. In my mind these are special car and worth the wait. I had a 2016 and loved every minute behind the wheel. It’s hard to believe the end of production is near.

I may hold the record for holding the oldest 2022 order. Tomorrow will be one year with a VIN. They say it will be built this week. Nothing like waiting until the last few days of production.

Ya, RE with the blackout badging. Some have commented that maybe an issue. Who knows, if I’m not mistaken orders for JB may not have been open when this car was ordered. Price went up $5k after my order. I think 3 price increases over the past year. Seems like a long time ago.

I’ve only been waiting about 6 months for my order, but I’ve seen numerous cars come out with all of my parts & pieces (and many ordered well after I did lol). My car has gotten a few thousand more expensive since I’ve ordered. I’m price protected but the window sticker will show it.

Yep, my Charger RE was flipped to a 2023. I have no details other than the dealer notifying me of the change. Hope we don’t get out to the back of the line again.

Why is your price changing? Something doesn’t sound right. You had an order in for a 2022 with a D or D1 status and the dealer is asking for the difference now that it is moving to a 2023? In my case they kept the same VON and gave me a new VIN, no price change. Something doesn’t sound right. Hate to see you give up at this point.

Duck - Fully understand your frustration. Did your VON stay the same after your order was transitioned to a 23? In my case it was Dodge/Stellantis made the transition to a 23 order, and received emails from both the dealer (Koons) and Customer Care that this was happening. My contract price did not change. Dan Cummins has been a reputable dealer for forum members, something doesn't seem right.
