At last my wait is over!

I picked her up yesterday from DC in Paris, KY and drove her back home to NC…

For those of you waiting let me tell you what many others in this forum have said many times before… It’s worth it! What a beast!

Im still tired and exhausted from this long Journey but really looking forward to enjoy her along side with my wife and kids!

I’ll be soon posting a thread sharing my whole journey and how was it working with DC.

And yes, I’ll be also posting a bunch of pictures for your own pleasure!

In the meantime here’s a few of them…

Thanks. Yes, it is in fact a U-Haul trailer! I debated a lot wether to drive her back home or haul it…

Man, I’m really glad I hauled her, it did rain on mealmost all the way through WV and a portion of VA, not to mention lots of construction work, debris, etc, it was almost 11 hours driving back and arrived late night, really confident wouldn’t enjoyed her completely hadI drove her…
Glad you got it home safe and sound. Now I hope you get to drive the living daylights out of it. 👍

Ordered on may 9th and still no update 🥲
That sucks! My journey thus far is:

May 26th - Ordered
May 27th - Scheduled
May 31st - Dealer said June 24th ship date
July 1st - Dealer said July 19th ship date

Online tracker still just showing “Scheduled”, but now that Brampton is closed for the next 9 days, I assume no one who isn’t already built and shipped will see any movement til mid month.

I am thinking the same. I'm in the batch that got scheduled on 6/17 and I'm still speculating I won't actually see the car until September :cautious:. Considering the dealer told me 2-3 months when I originally ordered, this wait has been nothing but frustrating.

Another update on my order! (Charger HCWB)

Tracking site now shows the car is shipped with an ETA of 7/19! Texted my salesman to check on the status and it's currently KZM. Hopefully won't be too much longer now. Here's the timeline so far:

Ordered: 4/13
Scheduled: 5/18
In Production: 6/13
Built: 6/15
Shipped: 6/28
ETA: 7/19
Delivered: TBD
That's awesome! Timelines like this make me optimistic. I'm definitely not this lucky though.

I’m happy for you but wait a minute. Did you pick it up with a trailer? I’m sorry but that just wouldn’t be right, since now you can break the gears in correctly.
There, I fixed it for you.

So since Brampton is on vacation I’m assuming all of us in “D” status won’t see any type of movement or could we possibly get a firm build date scheduled?

Grasping at straws here 😂

Happy to see I can help others!
If you get the Widebody it barely fits, I think there’s around an inch per side of clearance (if properly aligned when loading)

One advise, get you a piece of 2x8 by 12 foot of wood, have them cut you four pieces around 18” of length then the reminder of the 12 foot board have them split in half, this will help you on the ramps to increase clearance with the front lip of the car and then once you get her clear the front tires you’ll need to use two of the 18” boards on each side at the front of the Auto Transporter from U-Haul, that will also help you clear the transporter from the vehicle front as your ride will be bumpy if you are driving back home…

I believe U-Haul has a video where they show you the above suggestion (can’t take credit for it) but the dimensions suggestions are totally mine 🤓

What’s going to be your route once your vehicle is ready?

Good Luck!
