I placed my order 5/2/22 and still no scheduling yet. My dealer told me 3-4 months to get it. Over 2 months and no movement. Doubt I will get it within 4 months.
I’m in the same boat as you vehicle built not shipped but I was told it’s in transit the eta for me is the 29th but my dealer telling me early august so I don’t know when I’m just stuck
My car went into scheduling status May 31st & no movement since. I just spoke to the dealer & I was told car has an estimated ship date of 8/8/22. Man did that get me excited 😆. So that will make my wait time at 4 months.

Yea, I’ve noticed that trend as well, where the “Ship Date” told to us by our Dealers ends up being the “Production” date on the tracker.
My expected delivery date was 7/11, got contacted from Dawson and the finance team at Dan Cummins today about starting the process. Said the car is "around the corner" from them. Been shipped since 6/29 so it's a total crapshoot. My quick turnaround is gonna add another delay as soon as I get financing done, I'll have to wait on my boats maiden voyage across the country to California. Still worth the wait considering the markups here & dealers who are unwilling to get you a deal.

Mine was suppose to arrive 29th on tracker told august by dealers so I was surprised mine came so early I pick up on Monday because I’m on vacation I’ll post the beauty when I get it I’m so excited
The estimated delivery date on the website tracker is different from the estimated ship date you get from the dealers POC. The tracker ETA is pretty close. Mine was scheduled to be delivered 6/26. Showed up 6/21.

Production date I am not sure. That’s why I called the dealer. Should start to see more status updates within next few days/weeks
Just speaking from what me and others have experienced. the estimated ship date my dealer provided me with was 4/30 then 5/3. The car entered production on 5/6

You probably know better then me but just in case doesn’t the car have to made with specific parts for California to be registered there initially? I think it has something to do with the brake components.

Yep and great lesson learned by a guy named OC Motivator on YouTube who had to deal with that lol. Oddly enough when I checked my car it was Cali legal and I know PA doesn't have the same laws so I guess they naturally make some one way or the other?

Yeah I heard about that guy on YouTube who's HC showed up and wasn't CA compliant, definitely scared the hell out of me. I contacted my salesman over at DC and pretty much explained my concerns, then he said my name and address were placed on the bill of order so when making it they know to make it CA legal. On the POC it lists: CA emissions sticker and my salesman said he's never had an issue with a buyer from California, apparently they get quite a few. Still nervous until it shows up and can be registered. Otherwise I may just move a state over for 7,500 miles ;)

Just here to vent again. Sorry guys. Some of you may have seen posts that my car is literally 50 miles north of me, and has been there for a couple weeks now, and my deliver date got pushed another couple weeks out.

If @DodgeCares really cared about customer satisfaction, custom orders would be put at priority for delivery after sitting at a rail yard this close to me over random non ordered dealer vehicles. It’s to the point I may just go get the gt500 down the road. My dealer literally has gotten like 50 cars from the same train that brought my car here this week. Meaning theoretically it should be soon. But who really knows.

Next time, talk nicely to the people running the rail yard, so your car doesn't come off the train first and then end up parked in the back.
DodgeCares, or Dodge, aren't in the shipping business and really can't do much about your situation, much like that the railroad has no control over when and how your car is built.

The railroads are a joke in the US. I know because I personally dealt with them for my job. They don’t give a crap about anything and there is zero recourse for the customer. The Federal Gov by way of (Surface Transportation Board) made them untouchable.
