Figured I'd start a tracking thread for anyone who has a cat on order. I recently ordered mine as have a few others here. We can put our info in & edit it at any time as info becomes available. This way anyone can get an idea of how long it may take. For anyone who has recently received their car, you can fill in info as well to help others with time lines. I'll start with mine.

I received an e-mail Friday that my Redeye is going into production this week. It’s been three long months.
If the dealership doesn't do any dealer prep, what happens if damage is found after the car is delivered/picked up? Isn't it preferable to have the dealer take off all of the plastic etc and wash/clean the car before delivery? That way the dealership and then the buyer can inspect the car and point out any damage before delivery.Tell your salesman when it ships. No front plate and no dealer prep. I believe some dealerships still do dealer prep like taking off the plastic inside and wash it, but you can always request they dont.

Ordered a Charger REWBJB 10/27, got a POC with VON and 5N9 that day but still no email from Dodge and can’t see in tracker. Called dealer last week and was told my car is in BG. I’ve seen other people post here that ordered after me that have gotten emails and can see their order in the tracker, but they were all Challengers. Anyone with a Charger make it farther along than me?

I ordered a Challenger REWBJB on 11/01, I also have a VON and 5N9. I’m also in BG status and nothing on the tracker. I’m not going to sweat not seeing it show up in the tracker until after the 1st qt of next year. Bottom line is this, I got #7 of the 8 REWBJB allocations that the dealer had. Worst case is they cancel the order and then I just have to go search for an order that someone backed out of. With the way the economy is going, I think there will be plenty to chose from.

I think most dealers would be reasonable about it if you find a scratch or paint chip and report back in 24-48 hours.I agree but some of these cars are delivered to the dealerships dirty to filthy.
