She looks beautiful. What problems did you have with financing? Did they honor the rebates or discounts? Mine should be here any day just trying to prepare for the process.
I hope this helps you. I haggled and negotiated for 6+ hrs when I ordered the car in April and had to go at it again for 4 hrs last night when my car showed up. They were trying to go back on the numbers we agreed to at the time I ordered for the purchase price and my trade value that we both signed for. I had my affiliate pricing 1% below invoice and 4 more rebates. 2 special bonuses $1k each. 39CNE that was specifically sent to me from dodge after I placed the order to get 1k off the ordered HC. My wife received a separate 39CNE in her name from a Durango that she had in the past. The program rules for 39CNE said they are stackable and per person not per transaction. I also had a National rebate of $1k 22CN1 (from when I ordered in April) and a $500 from my employer (perks at work/TrueCar) I asked my dealer to check for any TDM’s in the system under mine or wife’s name that I may have missed. They couldn’t locate any more. I held my ground and asked for the owner a few times because I had it all in writing they never had me talk to the owner🤣. I ended up getting the 1% below invoice (price protected from April) and the $1k 22CN1 that was available when I ordered in April and the $500 from perks at work. The other $2k rebates they could not get to work with all the other discounts. We literally went the rounds over the discounts and trade value alone for 2+ hrs. They honored the original trade in value for my Scat I would not budge. At the end of the day I am satisfied and grateful, I feel that I got a great deal considering the death of these cars/Hemi’s and the current situation. Also, I ended up getting pre approved through Unify CU and got [email protected] 84 mo. The dealer finished the loan so they could get the kickback on the financing. Good luck and don’t back down.

That sounds like something I might have to go through as well. I know how these dealerships are. I do have all my rebates in writing and signatures, so i'm hoping this isn't a bad experience for me. I am also trading in my 2021 Scat pack T/A that they gave me a trade in value on but I think they are going to try to get over on me with. Fingers are crossed I hope this goes decent. I should also ask for it not to be detailed or washed. Thanks for the info man and congrats on the car. She's a beauty!

Thank you! I hope it goes smooth for you too, the experience will be so much better if it does. If they try to pull anything remember to Stand your ground and keep going back to the paperwork and signed documents. They told me I shouldn’t have put 8k miles on it in the 8 months I was waiting for the Cat, show me that signed agreement, they couldn’t.

I'll keep you updated but I won't let them get over on me. I have my Scat in the garage now so I only put about 2000 miles on it since they appraised it.

Took a while to get financing but I'm home. Looks fantastic. Fishtailed out of the parking lot a little bit lol.

Had some traffic on the way home, so far drives pretty similarly to the RT I had, need to play around with it. I love the colors though. was doubting the blackout package but when I saw it I knew it was the right choice.
Congrats man! So happy for you!!

I told them to only do the basic PDI on it and to leave all the plastic intact and to make sure it was not washed or detailed.

What are you going to do if after you get your car home and after washing/removing plastic etc you find damage to your car that was hidden. Potential hidden damage because your car only had basic PDI, not washed/detailed and has the plastic left on? Won't the dealer say that any damage found after the car has left the dealership happened after the car left the dealership premises and they are not responsible for the damage? I hope not but what if it happened?

While I probably would’ve had them remove the plastic, regarding a wash you basically have two options. Let them wash it and basically guarantee swirls in the brand new paint or have them leave it be. I like my odds better with the latter. Likely you don’t find anything anyway. Secondly, if you do and bring it to their attention within a day or two, there’s a good chance a decent dealer will still take care of it for you.

Ok, but if the Dealer car wash causes swirl marks, the dealer is responsible for fixing it. I'd like to offer another option to the Dealer hands off approach to pre-delivery preparation. Some of these cars get delivered to the Dealers filthy and the condition of the paint etc can't be seen. Let the Dealer know your concerns about possible damage due to washing and cleaning. Then why not let the Dealer do al of the necessary PDI, including washing, cleaning, inspecting etc. When you pick up the car if you see any damage, swirl marks, scratches or any damage, have the Dealer fix it. Since the car hasn't left the Dealership the damage is clearly their responsibility. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this approach to pre-delivery preparation?
