Well, speak of the devil. After 6 months, my GM just called me and said my 2022 order was cancelled and it’s being switched to a 2023. Same VON, different VIN. He said I should have the car in about 4 months. Also said I might need to change one of the packages I had picked on my 2022 order. Not sure what yet, but he said he’ll call me back. My hope has been restored!
Glad they worked it out for you!

Anyone, especially a dealer, claiming that an unbuilt car should be here in XXX amount of time is blowing smoke. They are simply guessing/ hoping nothing more.lol
How do you know they don’t know?

Isn’t that what a lot of life is? Guessing….hoping?

I’ve seen enough to know enough. The dealers are salespeople at the end of the day; they’ll say enough to keep the customer “happy”. The other part is that dodge/Stellantis keep people so in the dark, a lot of times the dealerships don’t even know what’s going on.
Fact is if you aren’t currently, or have been in the past, a GM for a dodge dealership, you for sure don’t KNOW what a current GM of a dodge dealership does or doesn’t know.

You sir (or mam) are guessing.

Im in weekly direct contact with management of a Dodge dealership, and I also have contacts who at Brampton for f*** sake. That is the plant where the cars (including Hellcats) are produced, for the geniuses on here. Why I waste my time proving myself is beyond me. There are a select few on this forum who actually contribute pertinent information, the remainder is shit, period.
I’m in weekly contact with Dodge management too. Doesn’t mean I know anything outside of my car, my dealership, and even that I don’t truly “know”.

Like I said, you don’t know anything. Much less when someone else’s car is getting delivered or what the GM of another dealership knows and doesn’t know.

I'm glad to hear your order was flipped to a 23. What happened?
Same thing as Craig. Ordered in March never got past D1. I asked but no one could tell “us” why it didn’t get built and when they reordered it “we” kind of let that go.

Why is your price changing? Something doesn’t sound right. You had an order in for a 2022 with a D or D1 status and the dealer is asking for the difference now that it is moving to a 2023? In my case they kept the same VON and gave me a new VIN, no price change. Something doesn’t sound right. Hate to see you give up at this point.
My new POC shows an increase but I’ve been told it will be taken care of.

Took a while to get financing but I'm home. Looks fantastic. Fishtailed out of the parking lot a little bit lol.

Had some traffic on the way home, so far drives pretty similarly to the RT I had, need to play around with it. I love the colors though. was doubting the blackout package but when I saw it I knew it was the right choice.
Nice. Is that B5? Looks like it on my phone.

Mine is supposedly price protected but the POC shows an increase of about $2500. Be interested to see how it shakes out.

Either way I’m taking the car provided it shows up 😂

For folks who had their orders converted to 23, has anyone had luck requesting a build change? Currently have octane red on my build, would like to switch to hellraisin. Hellraisin was my original choice, but wasn't available when I placed the order in Aug 22. I'm not sure if a build change would create problems with the price protection.
I tried. Sadly it’s not allowed.

Is your money factor also locked from the original order (if you're leasing)? I also had a $1k code, have reached out to the dealer asking if that's going to be honored.
We haven’t crossed that bridge yet. Wife has $1000 and I have a $1750. From what I read in another thread they can be stacked. Don’t know if that’s true or not.

It is my understanding for those that had 22’s cancelled and converted to 23’s they will be at the 22 price including the rebate.

Still waiting on an answer if they’ll honor the bonus cash voucher.

From what Ive seen, have any starting prices for Charger Hellcat WB’s still at $77,345 for MY23? The last increase I’m aware of was that amount as of 9/1/22.
Yes.

Was anyone with a 2022 to 2023 conversion able to have their dealer use the lease programs from when the original order was placed? And also what about the $1k rebate code.

My car is about to arrive but dealer says they will honor original selling price but won't honor the Money factor or the $1k rebate from the time of original order.
Please let me know how yours works out.

I’m curious to know what happens with regards to price protection and last years rebate.

My cloned car should be here soon as well.
