I have trawled through this thread but cant seem to find how I get a tag on the map showing where my Helccat lives in UK - I can see there are 3 - in Uk rgeards PW

If you are talking about the USER MAP at the top of the page, it is generated automatically using IP address. In the View dropdown, select "SHOW YOURSELF". Does not seem to work too well. When I show my icon, it shows that I am in Kansas, however, I am actually in Virginia.

Add Image to your Signature

NOTE: This list of instructions was provided using Internet Explorer. Some instructions could vary slightly depending on your browser, however, it should be very similar for any browser that you may use.

First, add the image to an existing or new album in the GALLERY section.

Make sure "Who can view" is set to "Everyone".

After uploading the image, then click on SAVE to put it into your album.

Within your album click on the image that you want to install as your signature.

The purpuse of this next instruction is to get the URL of the image. Right-click the image, then select "properties". Righ-click the URL and click on "Selelct All”. Then, either type CTRL-C or right-click the highlighted URL and click COPY.

Now, you can edit your signature and paste the URL into your signature. The remaining instructions guide you through these steps.

In the top-right of your browser, point to your username, then click on "Signature"

Click on the IMAGE icon.

Then paste (CTRL-V or right-click and select "paste") the URL. Then, click the "INSERT" button and the "SAVE CHANGES" button. That's it!! DONE!

Great thread intercooler !! You got yourself a sticky, good job and thank you for posting this!!!!

I've noticed that the hyperlinks that I installed to individual posts on page 1 no longer work (in my little table of contents). All the individual postings have been renumbered. Too bad. That's not something that I am going to check continually and maintain. The site changing dynamically like this could break hyperlinks within many threads.

Hey intercooler, I noticed the gold supporting banner like some members have below their avatar, disappeared from my profile. Is there a rationale for this? I did not alter any settings in my personal profile. Thanks

Man, that's a lot to go through for a signature picture.

I wonder why it isn't as easy as [sigpic] enter url of picture[/sigpic]?

When I insert the URL, it shows up on my preview, but when I go to save it, I get an error message and it won't save my image to the signature.
