I ordered in October waiting on red eye wide body now I’m thinking change to superstock. Why going to be the last with arrival of stupid electric cars. I can drive a few years every Thursday and sell in 3 years likely make a few bucks

Put drag radials on all 4 corners. There is your Super Stock.

Interesting spoke with dealer who operates 3 hrs from my home and sold me car below list says yes. Why reason is car has not been scheduled for production yet. Explained that 30 days after all parts arrived production will happen. Since car crossed over the 2021 to 2022 delay is the way it is. What I’m asking myself being last year before electric would the superstock appriciate?

It would appear they need to get a handle on 18 inch drag radial tire availability or the super stocks may come from Canada with Redeye wheels and tires on them, if Dodge is going to fill orders...

2023 (so far) will be the last year not 2022. Order what you want how you want it and enjoy it, not based on what it might be worth 40-50 years from now when you are gone. Why not do a jailbreak redeye.

Agree. I don't know how many years you got left in your tank, Snakeoil24, but why2kmax is spot on. SS will always be desirable for racers but the Redeye is probably a better street machine. But if Thursdays are your big day for driving then a SS would be good to go, too. Let us know what you end up doing.

My tank is getting low and retiring in3 months have lots of toys already never enough including 2 hemi cars real but just am nuts over my last hellcat wanted another

If you intend to go to the drag strip the SS is probably the way to go but for just cruising, occasional highway pulls, and spirited driving the redeye has better street manners given the better brakes, 20in wheels, and handles probably a bit better than the 18's on drag slicks. Really depends on what type of driving you intend to do

You brought me back to reality and your absolutely dead on right! Thanks more reason to stay the course will stay with red eye

I owned a 2020 redeye and do have a 2021 super stock .. they are not the same car... Dailey you want the Redeye. 18's will not fit on a 21 or 22 Redeye up front.
Super Stock is fun on dry roads but horrible tire ware.

Both are great cars... but not the same.

It’s a good possibility dodge already has 90% of the 315/40/18 nittos

No, but with the right modifications a redeye can, just like a non-redeye hellcat can be built to be faster than a stock redeye. What's your point? I won't be angry if someone builds a redeye to be faster than my car.
