I posted on here back in janurary about finally receiving my hellcat after waiting four long patient months. Sadly the car was stolen from my parking structure on Feb 28, I’m in the metro detroit area and had AirTag under my subwoofers in the trunk. Cops were unable to locate it and 3 days later they found the AirTag and threw it out. They’ve been driving it in east detroit so I know that car is long gone. I went to my dealer and they got me a jailbreak challenger for msrp.
Options are as follow:
Frostbite blue
Hammerhead grey laguna leather
Hammerhead grey seatbelts
Real carbon fiber interior accents
Suede headliner
Navigation
Srt spoiler
Sunroof
Satin carbon warp wheels & black brake calipers
Satin chrome badges
Harmon kardon sound system
Tech group & driver convenience
And lastly hoodpins.
now I sit and wait for another few months

Luckily I’m buying a house and it will be parked in the garage by the time it arrives

Oh 100%. I’m planning on putting a kill switch, alarm system and hard wire a tracker.

Insurance offered to pay every penny I paid excluding tax since it’s been less than 90 days of ownership

I’m curious why the AirTag didn’t help in this case. Was the car not at the location shown (accuracy/update problem), or did the cops not use the info in the first three days, or…? Just curious.

Funny thing is those aren’t even my wheel. I had the widebody brass monkey wheels so it makes no sense to me
