Well,, kinda said news,,I was cruising around this evening and this black car pulls up next to me and starts down shifting, like three times at least, then takes off,, newer M6, so next time he gets next to me we go I pull three cars on him then slow down... the next time he comes he make sure his rpms are up and in his power band before he gets next to me,, then we go again,, my car down shift as I'm cruising at 1100 rpms, and he walks me, and I was breaking the tires loose at above sixty...so I call it one for one,, mind you I just hit 300 miles tonight...There will be other days, and better tires..

Are your stock tires 3 season or 4?

Don't feel too bad, he may have had the Competition Package and tune (708 HP/651TQ). There are also Alpina M6 Grand Coupes out there with AWD and those power numbers. It's a brave new world on the street..... Fun times !

My stock tires are 4 season,, the tires I have on now are just cheap tires, aren't worth a crap.....I'm going to put DRs or something close on my stock wheels..and as far as the M6, that's a hell of a fast car,, I'm sure if I spent more time with my car,, and had the rpms up it would of played out different

Yeah, like the other thread if your running street tires you need to launch from second from dead stops. On roll racing you need to feather in the throttle otherwise you can easily spin 2nd or 3rd gear rolling from 30mph

Yeah,, you know what I think happened is the road must of not been very smooth, and it caused me to lose traction
