This Vette does not seem stock to me. What's your opinion?

That is a great vid. Z06 sounds awesome. There is a guy on the vette forum claiming a 10.38 on DR's and 10.4x on stock tires. Leading to a little bit of speculation. Some are challenging how odd it is that all the other ones are running 10'8's and 10.9's and then there is this one that runs a 10.38 at ATCO with apparently the whole track to himself. Calling it a small shot or a tune to which the vette guys say no. Another guy says how come when the hellcat runs a 10.4x it MUST have had a small shot on it but if the z06 does it it surely must be stock. Lots of good bantering with all these super fast cars out now a days. Vette guys are having a blast with that vid saying how the other vid where JT in texas spanked a z06 down the road with his hellcat must have had something wrong with it. Good time to be into cars for sure.

The Z06 is an amazing car. I think stock for stock with the same driver it should be a tad quicker. Two different cars IMO.

 

[Next Phase]

I've seen vids of a Viper TA and many others smoke a C7 Z06 on the highway. Don't see how this C7 Z06 runs away from all these cars now.... (I understand it's an A8 without the Stage 3 aero).

We'll see how legit this is once more videos start to surface. I'm guessing it's modded in some way (especially with all the heat soak issues), but I could be wrong.

The only reason I would question his vette is why is his the only one running that strong? All the others I have seen are running high 10's but his knocks off a 10.4x on stock tires and 10.3x on DR's? Could be legit but time will tell.

By all means it SHOULD be quicker. 1000 lbs lighter should do wonders.

This video is very interesting, First, whoever steps on the gas first normally wins, traction being the same. These cars are very close. Actually it is amazing the Hellcat is being compared to all these supposedly super fast cars.

If you watch carefully, the same driver, who switches cars, wins every race he is driving. He is a better driver, never loses traction.

Also why are the Hellcat drivers using their paddle shifters? That is not going to be quicker than these 8 speed shifting automatically. Just my 2 cents

The 11.2 is with stock Pirellis. On the DriveSRT site, it is listed like so:

NHRA certified 10.8 @126 mph with street legal drag radial tires. *NHRA certified 11.2 @125 mph with production tires.

Every vet I have passed on the road looks at me and slinks away. The only cars that really try me is our own srt/mopars and clowns in BMWs who obviously don't drive their cars like I drive my HC

There's a guy on IG that has both a stock Hellcat and Z06 (he may be on here as well) and he said in convo to me that they are both close in the 1/4 it would just depend on the launch.

Seems to me from almost every video I've seen there is little doubt the Z06 is the faster car in almost every measurable way. The fact that my huge comfy sedan is even able to respectfully hang with that car is good enough for me. Can't win em all boys and girls lol. Love hearing the excuses, it's down 1000 lbs on us and only 50hp with wider tires and better aerodynamics....the outcome shouldn't be shocking anyone don't be butt-hurt

I wouldn't think about running him without DR's!
