I was stretching her legs today, we have snow here but the roads were clear. I took her out and was on the highway and to my surprise there was a state trooper two cars back and as I was making sure of my speed and looking in my mirror. Then noticed a local cop pacing me to my left. Then he gave me the thumbs up!
Lastly I manage some condo buildings that my brother and I built and I was dealing with the local police on a minor issue at the building. A sergent that I know responded to the call and as I was dealing with him I mentioned that I got my Hellcat. He said you got a Hellcat, when did you get it ? I said 01/02/2015 he said my buddy was at the dealer as it rolled up and saw it and told me,what a great car he said.
I think most of the Police will love it and sort of look the other way depending on--

A couple of days after buying mine, I was taking my buddy for a spin. I was on my favorite back road that everyone I know has tested their cars on since it was built. The second I put my foot down and the car downshifted I saw a blue Charger (Arlington Police department) behind some trees, sitting in the median ahead. I never got above 50mph.

No point in faking the funk, I'm the only car on the road, time to take my lumps. The officer turns on his lights and I pull directly in front of him, he didn't even have to put his car in drive. He jumps out, I attempt to break the ice with a joke...he didn't laugh. I start to think "oh crap, I just made this situation worse". He tells me (in a Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry voice) "You shouldn't do that in front of these blue cars." and turns around and walks off. I was so confused about what just happened, like an idiot I stick my head out the window and ask him "Is that it?" almost as if I was begging for a ticket. He said "Yep" and I was on my way. It took me about an hour to clean my seat after the incident and I ended up throwing that pair of pants away.

I would never abuse the power of the Hellcat, but it should help knowing that if I did, my kid is a well liked and respected officer in the local area.

[MY CHALLENGER]

A couple of weeks ago we had a Saturday that was about 45 degrees. So out comes the hellcat out of the garage. We live in a semi rural area. I'm driving and I see a cop in the distance. .bUT he disapears. What he did was radio another unit to intercept me..I wasn't going all that fast,may be 50 in a 35. So the second cop turns on his lights. And pulls me over. I rolled down my window. .and said "the salesman told me this would happen"..I thought that was pretty funny. he took a look at the car and told me to keep my speed down and have a nice day. Dodged the bullet. but now I'm just a little paranoid..

Those were an option black vapor chrome. That is what our exhaust tips are. I wish they had the tips when I had that core to match. Now they have the tips on our car but you can't get the rims, ohwell

So far, I only caught one taking pics of my baby with his phone while I was at the gym. Since the police station is behind it, I see them often. I think they park by there just to remind me to behave cause they have hear me tear up the hill from the gym to my office hitting 0-60 as fast as I can in the 25. That WILL NOT be a pretty ticket...
