Hi All, Has anyone that ordered the 1000 hp Hellephant get delivery yet or do we know when these engines are getting built and shipped to the people that ordered them???
Is it built yet or have you been waiting for the other parts of that go along with the Hellephant block?$7KI was fortunate to get it. Pretty much impossible to find. FCA said they're limiting them to Helephant builds and race teams now. I call it the Unicorn Block
Was shocked when I could easily pick it up by myself. Supposed to take around 140lbs off the nose. Going to do a clear powder coat to keep it purdy.
Lolwut???It was the Drag Pack cars.
Does anyone remember when Stock Cars were stock?
Does anyone else remember when Pro Stock was actually stock?
The manufacturers shot themselves in the foot when they figured that having cars on the track that bear no resemblance to what you can get in the showroom was so GREAT, such a WISE MOVE.
Drag Pack cars are more Pro Stock AND more Stock Cars then either of the above. I don't imagine Ford or Chevy will like them, much. "When you can't beat'em, ban'em?"
I’m an old school N/A guy so working on as much power as we can do without boost. Going to stroke that 426 block and see if we can make it to around 700 crank HP. Currently experimenting with Hi-ram intakes to get enough air into that beast with the Thitek headsIs it built yet or have you been waiting for the other parts of that go along with the Hellephant block?

1965 Dodge Factory Altered Wheelbase
With proper exhaust systems, Chrysler's 1965 Factory Altered Wheelbase cars, which included the Dodge Factory Altered Wheelbase, would have been almost street-legal. Clearly, though, they were intended for competition. Learn more about this muscle car.musclecars.howstuffworks.com
As far as Ford and Chevy, they have the Cobra Jet and COPO Camaro, which are basically the same thing as a Drag Pack.
That is beautiful.I’m an old school N/A guy so working on as much power as we can do without boost. Going to stroke that 426 block and see if we can make it to around 700 crank HP. Will be 13:1 compression on pump gas.
Picked up some billet rocker covers and moving the coil packs to a remote location for a little retro look...

I just joined...I took delivery of mine on 3/16/20 #0017. I was informed early on that I was to receive the 17th motor and that the serial number wouldn’t necessarily be 17 but it was #0017. I ordered it on 4/26/19 at 10:15am Florida time. I then called a dealer to make arrangements to purchase it through them. They never even heard of it. Once they did their homework they tried to bump the price and said they could sell it to another party for more profit. They wouldn’t take my deposit so I called the department that took my order and they contacted the dealer and advised them that it was my motor and if they didn’t want to accept the profit that was built in to the MSRP then I could have the motor delivered anywhere I wanted...they then took my money. I thought I was going to lose it and the dealer would have ripped me if they could have. The chances of another 100 being produced is slim (per Mopar) and because of this virus the shipping has been halted. My guess is that only about 20 have been delivered and the installation kits have not been shipped at all and won’t be available for a long time. I’m new to these modern cars and have finally realized that this is the second muscle car era and way faster! Oh yes... it’s my understanding that you only need the kit if you’re planning to install the Hellephant in an older pre-76 vehicle. Please post as you get more information....very little online information regarding the build and delivery of this monster engine....
The engine was only made for pre-1976 installs . I am sure that the tuners around the country are going to try other options. Not sure about the plug and play of this engine in a new Car.I just joined...I took delivery of mine on 3/16/20 #0017. Grant, Recently I heard of an engine being sold to somebody in Dubai for big $, I’ve also heard the motors are discontinued since the virus outbreak. I’m afraid that there are big profits being made on these motors. If you’re still interested, give me a call 941-662-0876.If anyone knows of any Hellephants for sale, please PM me. Thanks!
