Hi Guys,

I thought I would introduce myself.

I am from Australia (Adelaide to be exact) and I own a 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Wide Body. They are extremely rare down here so it gets looks wherever I go!

My brother and I import these and other American cars to Australia so I thought it was time I got one for myself!

Awesome ride! We have a Kiwi member here who described the hassle of converting from LHD to RHD. Do you do the conversions in-house, or do you outsource the job?

Welcome! Love the RHD Vehicles and would also be interested if you did that. I am a Engineer at Mercedes-Benz here in Bama and have put over 20K miles on RHD Vehicles here in the U.S.. (All the Large SUVs that Mercedes sells are ONLY made here in Bama). When people see you driving a RHD Mercedes in the States they are confused! I usually tell them we make them for the Postal Service here in Bama which is usually followed by "Postal Drivers get to drive Mercedes in Bama?" Actually, they do drive RHD Metris'. Congrats again and enjoy the attention!

RHD Hellcat, right on, gonna make that a very rare car.
You can drive a thousand miles in the Outback and not see another car, unfortunately you'll have to have a tanker shadow you or you get stuck in the definition of "nowhere" and get eaten by giant spiders or bitten by the most poisonous butterfly on earth.

Welcome from another kiwi (Hamilton) hellcat owner

Saw the Henessey display of Dodge performance vehicles at the Adelaide 500 V8 Supercars in 2019

Ive owned a few RHD converted American muscle cars, but thankfully the NZ government no longer makes us do that very expensive work anymore

Hey from Wisconsin, USA. How is it driving on dirt roads passing the road trains (like we see in the movies)?????????? 😁
We only really have road trains in the outback or industrial areas. This baby ain't going into the outback!! haha

We outsource but we are looking at setting up a conversion facility here, but that takes time and money. I normally have one or the other lol

RIP Holden , GM completely screwed the pooch on that. The SS was the only American Sedan that I would have considered besides the Charger. Instead of highlighting it's made in Australia by GM Holden it tried to hide it by covering the logos with cheap carpeting and covers. They also had a platform to rival the ImpalasV6 with a SS V8 but didn't take advantage of it. I am not a huge Camaro or Corvette fan but I would definitely like to add one of those to the collection in the future (current collection: 1 car; 1 bike).
