New member here. Just as I often would hang out on the A-body Mopar sites even though I've owned and own nothing but B-bodies (those A-body guys just seemed to know their stuff; maybe years of not having access to readily bolted-on parts), I am here today to hang out with all you Hellcat folk even though not only do I not own a Hellcat, I don't even own a Challenger. In fact, I just own one of them "stripper" versions of an SRT8; that is, a 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 "Super Bee" (you know, before there was a ScatPack R/T basically, there was a Super Bee). Odd seeing something called an R/T with a 6.4/392, but I digress.

Bought the car in late 2020 with very low miles (4.2K). It was bone stock, factory original tires/wheels, never had its oil changed or anything else, and not a scratch on it. It's black with the normal cloth Bee-embroidered interior. Only "upgrades" so far are genuine Demon wheels w/ 315/40-18s, Hellcat air filter, Fumoto oil drain valve, custom two-chamber Flowmaster cat-back exhaust with resonator delete, and a Hurst pistol-grip style shifter handle.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hello from Southern California and I hope to both learn from you all as well as give my two cents where I can, entertain as well as be entertained, and hopefully not spread too much misinformation in our interactions...

Yeah, I know. First thing I did was change it with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic 0W-40 (SRT). So yeah, not sure how acid/dirty/other oil gets with age and not being ran, but the previous owner barely drove the car, so it was a gamble. I'm sure the tires are at risk for dry rot as well. Again, it literally had 4,250 miles on it (now about 6K). Not bad for a 10-year-old car.
