DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DETERMINE A BUILD DATE BASED ON MY VIN? Is there a web page or POC? Dealer is saying they dont know. My VIN is: 2C3CDZC91FH834187.
I know many are waiting for a VIN and I don't mean to be rude . Been waiting 7 months and no one is telling me when the car will be built.

Vehicles are not built in VIN order, so there is no way to determine when the vehicle will be built by VIN #. Not much you can do but continue to wait, and hope that your dealer has/gets an allocation.

They have an allocation that's why it switched from a VON to a VIN with a specific VIN #. I have been told I will get the car and it will be a 2015. But no date .

If you are in D, make sure you list it with Ray and RS on the VON/VIN thread. When you go D1, RS will tell you as daily D1 assignments are checked.When did you go VIN/D?

VON customer sold order list thread is where RS announces those that go D1 and does these updates daily...usually around noon PDT. He usually knows a day or so before your dealer does. I went D1 on a Sat. and my dealers screen didn't update till Mon.....maybe a weekend thing. Know your VIN# and watch the thread for updates. Good Luck. When will it be built? Go D1 first then perhaps 2-3 weeks after that, then delivery time depending where you live in relation to the factory.
