Hey all! I’ve been searching the forums and can’t seem to find the info I’m after.
I have heard modifications are needed to fit 18” demon wheels on the front of a hellcat... can anyone confirm what mods are required? I’ve heard calipers are the issue, I’ve heard shock mounts are the issue, I’ve heard both and neither are the issue so I’m looking for come concrete information as to what needs to be done to fit the wheels. Thanks!!

The 18" wheels won't clear the Hellcat's front calipers....hence why the Demon (and now the Super Stock) have smaller front calipers
Demon has smaller front brakes.
yes I’m aware of this however some people have said you need 4 piston, and others have said you can trim down a spot on the 6 piston... also hearing that the shock and shock mount may need a modification. Looking for someone who has had experience with the swap who can confirm what details.

While Demon fronts may not clear, we have a bunch of 18x5 Fronts that will clear 6 Piston Front Brakes up to 2020. 2021 Fronts received Trackhawk front brakes so none of the 18x5 / 18x6 wheels we sell will fit: 2018-21 Widebody Challenger & Charger Hellcat SCAT R/T Redeye Demon Forgestar, Race Star Industries, Weld Racing Drag Racing Wheels, Mickey Thompson Drag Racing Tires and Street Tires and more!

Thanks, the reason I’m looking the demon route is because I need something streetable, not quite front runners.

Any idea when someone might make front skinnies for 21s?

Yes, I had to change out my caliper’s and rotor before I could install the 18x11 rims with nitto NT555R drag radials. Everything went great. The only problem you will have is gathering the brake parts you’ll need to get the job done! Tom where’s my setup:

the only thing I need is a set of demon caliper’s and rotors. My car is the florescent green challenger. It’s built exactly like the demon challenger. Don’t waste your money on anything else but 4 piston caliper’s and rotors for the frontend.
