3 years ago I used Turo to rent a Charger Hellcat and a Tesla.

Fast forward 3 years and we own 2 Tesla’s but I keep thinking about that hellcat. I ordered a Cybertruck the day it came out but with recent news it’s going to be delayed at least another year if not even more I’m ready to pull the trigger. I love the performance of our Tesla’s and was going to sell my Truck and swap it out for CT.

I’m going to keep the truck order for now but want to buy a charger hellcat. I’ve been lurking on this sub for a while but just joined.

Can you still order a Charger Hellcat today and get decent pricing? I’ve been on all the dodge websites to build one and I can’t seem to find one that will let me.

Be prepared, I think you are about to take a beating here lol. Although it sounds like you're coming around. As long as youre not trying to get a Jailbreak you can still get 4-5% off invoice at a few dealers on Hellcats and Redeyes.

lol. I figured but I had to share. Incoming it’s ugly, Tesla’s are POS etc. We have both ICE and Electric. There is no denying the performance but I’m out here wanting to get a hellcat too!!

Do you have any suggestions on a dealer who has a relationship here?

Jake at Cummins stated to me that he will do MSRP on jailbreaks but he is awaiting more allocations. So he’ll put you on a list.

I didn't order through him because I found a dealer that had an allocation more local to me. That being said if I didn't I'd have no problem going with Jake.

Personally I would advise people to cool it on ordering Jailbreaks. Not only is the ordering market frantic and haywire, even if you do get an order in it could be months.

I've stated it here twice, the microchip issue is not getting better and production is going to suffer after they blast through the supply gathered during the shutdown.

Ugh for real. I did a build-to-buy now on a Camaro ZL1 1LE back before I ordered my REWB... The local dealer invited me to come in to test drive one, and I was shocked because it was January, and said, "You guys have a ZL1 out in the wintertime?" They responded back with "No, we have the V6 model" What a waste of time. To this day, I get messages about testdriving Camaro's at local dealerships. Lesson learned: Never buy it now on a car manufacturers website.

Oh it's just as bad over here in Dodgeville. I went in and ordered my Jailbreak on 12/30. Deposit paid, paperwork done. However, to this day I get at least 1 call per week from someone on their sales team asking me if I want to come in and test drive one of the exciting 2021 SXTs they have on their lot. I don't usually answer the phone, but it's the voice mails that just kill me. "Hi sir! We noticed you came in last month but didn't buy a car. We want to earn your business! Come on in and ask for me and I can get you into any number of Challenger SXTs with a great price. We even have a couple of V8s if you think you can handle a Hemi."

For the record, those 2 V8s they had were both used 5.7L R/Ts.

I don't know what CES software my Dodge dealership uses, but I can say with some degree of certainty that they aren't using it correctly.

I want to order a jailbreak but $30k premium isn’t worth it to me. At least that’s what I’ve seen so far.
