hey guys,

I have a Trackhawk 2018 with 11,000 miles and its stock, it used to be modified and tuned, but everything went back to factory setting and modifications , the problem is when I suddenly shock the throttle for maximum acceleration, once the car tries to shift to another gear the power shuts down and I lose power but when Im just cruising there is no problem at all and it drives flawlessly.

if anybody knows what's the problem, would appreciate it...

I have changed MAF sensors and spark plugs and serviced it but still.

Do you know the full extent of what was modified on it? Often but not always the transmission control module (tcm) is included as a separate tune available to change how it reacts. If you know who worked on it I would contact them and have the records pulled for you by vin.

yes simple mods, JLT intake, hellrazer pulley with its belt, modified exhaust system (welded), special thrmostate and a tune. I thought the same way but NO TRANSMISSION TUNE HAS BEEN DONE have checked.

So the car was modified, then returned the stock, there is a problem with the car. Now you think Jeep should fix it under warranty?
Seems like maybe the car was modified, then had a problem, then returned to stock so Jeep can sort it out.

And yes, if it was ever tuned it will have the 1400.

I had 2 Trackhawks (2018 and 2019) and both had similar problems. It only happened on WOT from a standing start. Sometimes they would shutdown immediately and sometimes about 30mph... It happened to both cars but only occasionally with each one... I didn't take them to the dealership for fear of them breaking something else... I often wondered if it was due to lower fule levels since it only seemed to happen when I had less than 1/2 tank of gas but not consistently. Never threw any codes "for this problem" but the second one would go into limp mode "while just cruising along" occasionally and it would throw codes. Finally got tired of the quirks and sold them both.

No codes are displaying on my screen, are you sure about that? factory setting and factory tune are on the car now, if it was a p1400 code they should have told me by now.
It's a hidden code. It doesn't show up on common OBD2 scanners. However, dealer systems (and professional scan tools) can see the code. It is a blanket code that just says that the engine has been tuned and will stay on the car forever.

Was the fuel system modded? boostapump. Will the dealer flash everything back to stock and go from there.
