I’m looking for some recommendations on which skinny’s seem to have the best overall service for out cars.
I’ve been running the Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR s for 2 yrs. My issues are they are hell to keep balanced. 85 plus recommended inflated pressure, tires are heavy as hell, 25 lbs each and cost For no longer than they last.
im looking at the M&H and Hoosiers.
if anyone has some hands on experience I would love to hear from you on what you run and why.

I contacted MT tech, and they told me to run the SR fronts at 72 psi.

I'd like to run something else too, but haven't found anything that I'd feel comfortable driving much on the street with. Would be nice to have something lighter.

How tall are the 18" M&H tires? I found some online and they were only 26" tall.

I have a set of M&H front runners and I hate them. I used them on my '19 Redeye WB for 3 passes and ended up taking them off because they just felt like they were dragging. They were dragging so bad they looked flat and felt like the brakes were locked up. I think their max psi is only 40 or 45 and their max load rating is only 1300lbs per tire maxing the tires out if you have a heavy car like I did.

You just are not making enough power

In the lights there isn’t 500 lb on that tire when it’s on a quick car

At 30 psi.
To adjust my roll out.
I leave on the second bulb.

3880 was made specifically for our cars. Mickey hasn’t done a run for well over a year and word is that it’s a wrap. Demand was supposedly too low. Last new set on the planet ^^^ and I need cash. Ball bearing turbos got expensive lol

Maybe he was misinformed? All previous information has been accurate but hey in the end he sells tires to racers, it’s not like he is running the company for good year

They were made for our cars and are the best match for any drag radial rear
