Over the past several weeks, there has been a lot of excitement about the multiple limited edition models scheduled for the 2023 model year. However, the Brampton Assembly Plant is struggling to continue its run of 2022 models, due to current part shortages.

Everything will be on schedule. They are doing a deep inventory of all the extra old stock parts from 2015 up. They are making sure all new decals are ready and in hand once they ramp up.

Wow no kidding? But the shutdown isn't due to just the readiness of the decals though, right?

Jeez, I sure don't think so. Just a casual glance at what's happening with orders tells a very different story. ARP is still way behind, let alone chips and foam/fabrics.

You know the factory carries a ZERO part inventory right? All parts carried at the factory level are allocated to a specific car, so there is no need to "inventory" those

We should thank all those brilliant executives that pushed their manufacturing offshore and gave control to those countries. They did a great job, didn't they?? These companies single-handedly caused Inflation because of supply chain issues and then profited from the higher prices while they complained the whole time. Other countries strangled America 's Supply Chain because they could and American empowered them.
