Hot dang, it looks like a Redeye long block is a great place to start, at a great price versus piecing things together...This is the thread about the swap

Go Man Go's New Bullet
This is the direction I went on a new engine for Go Man Go. I thought it over for about a week and wanted to KISS. From the time the motor broke at the track to the I was back on the road was right at 15 days total, and I took 6 of those to decide what to do. Hopefully this is an upgrade and...www.hellcat.org
There is also a thread about what lead up to it happening of the blown engine.
The Redeye engine has upgraded parts
"62 percent new content compared with Hellcat V-8: engine block; crankshaft; pistons; connecting rods; supercharger"
Engine internals:
- Forged alloy steel crankshaft with 90.9-millimeter stroke and revised balancing
- Induction-hardened crank bearing surfaces; individual journal optimized main bearing clearances
- Forged high-strength alloy pistons; 30-micron increased piston to bore clearance
- Powder forged connecting rods; upgraded shank and big end; revised ultra-high tensile fasteners
- Flow doubled on piston cooling oil jets
- Revised design valve springs
- 33 percent increase in oiling for valve springs and rocker tips – lubrication and cooling
- Single-groove collets on valve stems for improved stability
- Fuel injector pressure increased 27 percent
- Oil pan and windage tray optimized for high acceleration – tested up to 1.8 g

I did a full swap on my car and put a redeye engine in it. ( IG: Samm.650 ). If you got any questions lmk.Hey has anyone swap Hellcat engine for a redeye engine? In a regular Hellcat?
In summery, was it straight forward, meaning swaping the motor and PCM? Did you also swap the HC trans and drive shaft for the RE one?I did a full swap on my car and put a redeye engine in it. ( IG: Samm.650 ). If you got any questions lmk.
Yeah it was pretty much straight forward. Kinda like drop in and plug-in, you would say. I, swapped the entire driveline, and the tranny just bolted right up. Once’s the pcm was connected. It all started up properly. In summery, was it straight forward, meaning swaping the motor and PCM? Did you also swap the HC trans and drive shaft for the RE one?
Man sounds good! I only have the motor and pcm no trans… would I need it or can I use my Hellcat trans..Yeah it was pretty much straight forward. Kinda like drop in and plug-in, you would say. You can use your current 8HP90 trans.Man sounds good! I only have the motor and pcm no trans… would I need it or can I use my Hellcat trans..
I have a 2020 that I'm putting a 426 in. Not a damn thing wrong with the stock engine. So nobody has yet brought it up I'll take one for the team and ask the question that's on everyone's mind who's following this here post. What happened to your 2018 engine to cause it to crater under warranty in order to allow you to make this swap? What on Earth happened to your 2018 6.2 motor in the first place? Did it spontaneously grenade from the inside, what was the root cause of the engine failure? " My 2018 HC's engine is running perfectly, no issues whatsoever so far. I'm having a hard time believing that things like this happen. So if someone would be so kind as to explain what the Hell actually happened that'd be great!
Everybody's a comedian these days. And I'm sure buying a high $80's minimum muscle car and then pulling its brand new motor and installing an unproven high-performance motor from a 3rd party vendor is a smart decision in these uncertain economic times. Would it be asking too much to see some visual proof of this endeavor of yours?I have a 2020 that I'm putting a 426 in. Not a damn thing wrong with the stock engine.
Why?
Because I *** feel like it, and I can, that's why.
Maybe the OP feels like it or maybe it's none of your *** business.
Hope that answers your question.
Have a great weekend.
