I pulled into a grocery store lot and noticed a youngster park near me. I walked toward the store and then turned around. Kid had a hoodie and mask on, and was low in his seat. I pulled around and sat behind his car for a bit. I have seen scouts/spotters before, this was one.

Just a reminder to look around those corners with these cars, theft is at a high rate and coordinated. If you would like to chastise me for judging him or whatever, I'll be happy to battle with you publicly.

I have heard the argument for just letting them take your car, cuz it isn't worth getting killed. Wave the white flag. Honestly, I'd die for the principle of not having some twat take my (fill it in). You want to steal my car, be prepared. I might be prepared, too.

Thieves beware.
I had a custom quick release gun safe built into the tray above the glove box in my Hellcat. The same safe will be installed in the Jailbreak when it comes. Inside the gun safe is a SA Hellcat micro compact 9mm. I'm a similar type in that if someone wants to try and carjack me or play reindeer games, there's always a loaded handgun ready to go. Thankfully I live in a state that takes the 2nd Amendment seriously and it is perfectly in line with state law to not only protect myself from harm, but to also safeguard property.

And to head off anyone thinking it to themselves, yes, my car is worth more than a scumbag thief's life. It might be just property, but it is mine and you either have to pay with money or blood for the right to use it.

Unless you live in a state/city with catch and release laws. It's working out real well for Union Pacific... Incredible how some people defend criminal scum 🤡

Ummm, you might want to research that one a bit more....there isn't a State in the Union that allows deadly force to be used to protect property

I love how these threads inevitably turn into a weird homicidal fantasy/internet-badass-with-a-gun meetup.

Most people who talk about wanting to use a weapon to defend their car from thieves haven’t actually been on a two-way gun range. It’s a car, it can be replaced.

Well what happened afterward? Did you just leave/did they follow or anything?
I left and as far as I could tell, he didn't follow me.

I know. I grew up watching Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson, not transgendered tik-tokkers haha. But I take your point, and it's not as if I have some blood lust,
but I am more than a little concerned about the current crime wave, among other things.

I am careful with my car, but I also enjoy it.
I agree that the world is not right.
Law enforcement would rather see your car stolen without conflict than you shoot someone.
They say that is what insurance is for, but we have to pay the insurance and prices go up for everyone when the clowns keep stealing.
Just be careful, everyone is a victim right now. Everyone that stands up for themselves is a racist if the perpetrator is a different race.
Police officers that are serving the community get put in a negative light for shooting a 18 yo kid in a traffic stop, but meanwhile the kid was just involved in a drive by shooting and was evading the police at high speeds. Next the news has the mother on at 6pm demanding the cop is charged with murder..... wtf is happening here?
Just be prepared to move to another city and start over with life if you shoot someone. The media circus will ruin you.
The woke mob, claiming to bring racism to light lmao, AND this cancel culture bs is the most RACIST bs that I have ever seen. It is 100% terrorism/mob activity in our communities, and it can be done on a computer by 15 yo kids. These kids are not taught how special life is or what truly is right or wrong.
Like I tell everyone and I am sure this post will be printed in the newspaper if I ever shoot someone.
I believe in God, I spread the word of God. If you are hungry, ask me for food and I will share mine. If you have thirst, ask me for drink and I will share mine. If you see fit to take my possessions, I will rebuild and replace. BUT, try to hurt my family in the process, and I will deliver you directly to the gate where you will be judged. There will be zero media there to paint you in a different light than who you truly are.

Now my blood pressure is up.
I hope everyone has a great week (y)

DDSRT +1 on the comment brother. As a Vet, I can say your 100% right. Between laws and people potentially shooting back, Internet/COD [email protected] tend not to translate as well in RL. If you know you know. It should not get that far. The point of the OP is a tale of caution and preparing, be vigilant, then doing whats needed if a time of crisis occurs. That said, I carry 2x everyday as I do agree with defending others and what we have worked for.
