Anyone know if they can be factory ordered? I see you can on a wide body and a super stock but no love for the regular bodied challenger?

You can certainly order them on a NB/SB. I dont care what you call it unless you use the word “Chally” ew.

They removed them from the standard body option list at some point, don't know if it was just Upfitter backup and if they will return or not.

For 2020, they were not an option on skinny cats. They did and still do sell the Mopar hood pin kit, which does in fact fit our cars (there's no difference in the hood or mounting position between the wide and skinny Challengers). I tried like mad to get them to install the pins at the factory, but both the dealer and Dodge customer service said it couldn't be done. They weren't coded for it in the system at the time.

The upfitters do a crappy job anyway. I installed the Mopar kit on my NB 2020 HC. Fits perfect, looks great. I am sure the upfitters do not put the care/precision into the install as the owner will.
Very easy install but that first hole cut into your beautiful hood is a little un-nerving.

I looked on the nada website and the Dodge website. For 2021 it does not exist on the options for the redeye not in wide body configuration. I’m hoping this will change for the 2022. If not I’ll buy them and do it myself.

Mine were factory installed (upfitter) and are absolutely perfect. I know I could have saved a few $ & done it myself, but I wanted it on my option list.
I also know that I was probably lucky they weren't training someone that day!

I just took delivery of my new HC with factory installed pins. They however, didn’t give me the clips/or cables. Do you know where I can get some? I saw clips/cables on eBay but wasn’t sure if they would fit. Figured since you installed some, you would be the one who would know.

When we took delivery of our '20 Scatpack with factory hood pins the cables and pins were in a box in the trunk. If you can't find them anywhere than the dealership must give you a set and the dealership can get reimbursed from the upfitters. Do not let the dealership tell you it is not their problem and it is up to you to get a set. You paid for them and they should come with the car. Threaten to call Dodge customer service and get the dealership in trouble if they don't give you a set.
