Are all the Hellcat Challenger hoods aluminum? When I do the build online, it lists "aluminum satin black hood" as an option. If all the hoods are aluminum, I'm not going to do this, because I want my car to be low key...but if the only way to get a light hood is with the satin hood, that's what I'll get.

Ordering this car today, so it would be nice to know quick, lol!

i haven't found something to quote, but i do remember reading that the hoods were aluminum regardless of whether it was the satin black, or body colored.

Hood is aluminum regardless of black satin or not from what I read

The hellcat,, and the srt 392 come with aluminum hood,, the only option is getting it black on a hellcat...

Thanks guys. Going to order a silver one with a silver hood. Only thing I have to decide is flat black or gloss black wheels. I have about 45 minutes to make that decision.

Good luck with the order I hope your dealer is entitled to an allocation for you. I like the silver because it always looks pretty good. My GT500 is silver mus

You're right, the other wheel options weren't available. The salesman thought for sure Brass Monkey and Gloss Black were available, but it didn't allow us to select them. Didn't matter because I wanted satin black anyhow. Did get the order placed.

Supposedly I'm on December's allocation for this dealer, then it should be 8 weeks after that. Can't wait!

That is awesome! You are in small town like me. Our allocations were available a little later than the bigger cities. Congrats! I am really excited for you.

It's actually a big dealership in Bloomfield Hills, MI, but it's their second allocation.

Do any of you have your cars yet? Does anyone have these cars yet?

No one has their cars yet. I hope to start seeing pictures/delivery threads soon!

I know as soon as I get a call from my dealer that my car is ready, I will be making a new thread before I even leave to go pick it up, just so that everyone knows! (though I'm sure others will get theirs long before I do down here in Louisiana, I'm still going to be super excited, haha). Or maybe I will post on the drive up there...I'm about 2 hours out from the dealer I was able to get an order in at.

Duuuuudddddeeee! I am totally on that too! I am about 10 mins from my dealer, but on that day I will make it in 5 and I have to pass the court house to get there!! We are gonna record it also and get a pic with old car and new together!
