I'm not an anti Ford or anti Mustang guy, but the look of the Challenger really is something that I do love. I have never owned one, and am looking forward to my first one (impatiently, but I'm working on it!). You seem like you would like either one, and I wouldn't fault you for getting a GT500 if Dodge doesn't work out these logistics kinks. But if you do stick it out, I would look forward to meeting you at some Hellcat/Mopar event. Houston is only a few hours away from here (I actually may have to go there for a job in the next week or so, haha).I think Ford will come out with a Ford Mustang GT500. I hope my Hellcat gets here before that, because I might change my mind.
that 1300 # is total internet rumor based on nothing. Resume Speed already said they finished building the 1000th hellcat already and this is the beginning of December.I like the look for the Challenger better, and already sold my Challenger R/T to buy the Hellcat. I am willing to wait it out for a while, but I read somewhere 5000 hellcat have been ordered and they only expected to build 1300 a year. I put a down payment on 10/17, I don't expect to see one until summer of 2015, realistically. I am just keeping the options open. Some days I am more patient than others.
That's not even funny!I think Ford will come out with a Ford Mustang GT500. I hope my Hellcat gets here before that, because I might change my mind.
Hang in there brother. ResumeSpeed confirmed that they will build as many as are ordered - even if that number exceeded 10k. You can discount pretty much whatever everyone else says, but if ResumeSpeed says it, you can be assured that it is spot on.I like the look for the Challenger better, and already sold my Challenger R/T to buy the Hellcat. Resume Speed already said they can build 15,000 a year if necessary. Doesn't sound like it's an issue. Just working production kinks out on 1st and 2nd production.I like the look for the Challenger better, and already sold my Challenger R/T to buy the Hellcat. I am afraid lack of information from Dodge will cause people to do thisI think Ford will come out with a Ford Mustang GT500. I hope my Hellcat gets here before that, because I might change my mind.
i think it will be lack of a VIN, but what do i knowI am afraid lack of information from Dodge will cause people to do this
well that does not help eitheri think it will be lack of a VIN, but what do i know![]()
you and I both know they are very differentwhy not get a new 2014 gt500 then...why wait....the 13/14 GT500's are faster according to car and driver test results...Dodge says different though, but other than Richard Rawlings no one else can get 3.7 or 11.2.....i saw 4 and 12.0 in the last mag i read..
something to consider...im sure there are great deals to be had on the left over GT500's.....i think the challenger is a better looking car, but not by much...
i recommend 1 of each
