I’ve had two different “orders” placed. The first was a bust at a Houston dealer for “MSRP”. I got a build sheet but no VON and they never processed my deposit.

The second order was in Austin. They said they had 3 REWB available and it was $15k ADM with a $5k deposit. I paid the deposit and it went through, got a VON but no confirmation from Dodge.

At what point does the build get accepted? I see that the dealership still has 3 REWB in their allotment on the Horsepower Locator. Are they sand bagging orders? It all just seems sketchy to me.

Stay on your dealer and keep getting him to send you an updated POC.


Don't know when but shouldn't be too much longer that they will be accepted and you'll get a VIN and that will be reflected on the latest POC.

There's already 2023 cars out there on the for sale sites with VIN's so this is already happening.

I had 5N9 on both. The second one actually had a VON and they drafted the deposit.

Yeah the salesman said Dodge would be emailing me, nothing yet. How long did it take Dodge to email you from when you placed your order?

I think I have trust issues dealing with these salesmen! Lol

MOnday late I confirmed my order, On Tuesday I changed my wheels and luckily he had not submitted it yet because he was off.....Wed around noon he confirmed again and said he was placing it....at 3:05 pm I got an email

Im not sure but I’m gonna take a guess and say that your dealer didn’t put your email address into the system when he placed the order. It’s likely not a “required entry”….this seemed like a totally automatic email.

I just figured out the following though. Here’s the website.

The notices link on the Horsepower Locator page says it may take up to 30 days to receive an email from Dodge. So maybe contact your dealer just to make sure your email is entered and then wait? I'm in no rush but I'm sure I'll have bad days

You can contact Dodge customer support from their website and add your email if you have issues with the dealership doing it. VON will be required.

jus ordered a ss. last sunday, when i looked at my order sheet it had 5n6 code not 5n9 wich is a gauranteed order, began to worry about the ever popular allocation fairy. but jus got an update that the order has passed edit an is in bg status an a von. number was issued, dealer said once a vin is issued Dodge would automatically give me updates , but cautioned they are way behind, that at least made me chuckle ....

Dealer said they should issue a vin this week when he looked at mine it said not scheduled for production in October wich i placed the order on the 30 oct. But with a von we are next to be scheduled, he laughed an said your order is good an you have a 98,000 dollar bill pending in canada, congratulations to everyone trying to get one of these the torture will BE WORTH IT 🏁👍

Well if it goes the way my TRX went we’ll have our cars in July….
