OK, I wanted a Hellcat since I first heard about them. Backed off because I'm so turned off by typical dealer sales tactics on 'vehicles of interest'.

I know there are some decent dealers out there and I found and spoke to a few local ones. Then I heard about Bob Frederick. I got some very positive feedback on Bob from a couple of his past/current customers.

I was on the fence for several days about my options. I emailed Bob a few times (super timely and informative responses). I actually spoke with him today and that sealed the deal. He is a rare breed.

I've officially ordered my Hellcat. I"m at the back of the line waiting patiently LOL. So who do I contact for that secret handshake?

Did you get a number as far as how many people are ahead of you on the list? It would put to bed some of the arguments I've seen here between a couple factions of people.

I ordered from Bob at MSRP on 9/17/14 and sat in BX hell for months. I was told at the second allocation that my VON would get some action in the Spring of 2015. Way too long for me so I canceled my order with him and found one in stock at another dealer for $4K over. Bob was great and refunded my deposit the next day. Although he is connected, it doesn't get you a Cat quickly.

I don't think that ordering from Bob will get me a car any quicker. I ordered from Bob because based on what I've heard about him and my converstations with him (via email and phone) he is a stand-up, honest car guy that treats people with respect.

I despise old school scumbag dealers and their tactics. I don't care if you are buying a Ford Focus or a Ferrari. You shouldn't be treated like slime.
