I ordered my ChRGER red eye 7 weeks ago. I stopped in the dealer in Long Island and asked him the status. They said May 21 ship date but it still in D 1 status. I saw the computer screen and it indeed said that. Is it possible to go from D1 to ship in 14 days?

Anyway, I asked him how many Chargers were ordered. He said I was the only one. I wonder if sales are flat on these.

No way he knows how many are ordered for the entire country. So he did tell you that you are the only one he has ordered, fair enough.

Won't know total production until later this year when the model year is complete. Pretty safe to say though that the 2021 model year of the charger hellcat is going to be the year of the Redeye. Not many regulars being built.

I have personally ordered about 8 for my clients.
that is about the time it would take if they're starting to get it built in the next few days. i would reach back out monday and check again. it will probably be moved to G status soon

What dealer did you use on long island? Were they straight up? I'll be ordering one soon.

I had major issues with all dealerships. Town and Country In Levittown kicked me out and told me to get the **** out of here because I parked my 2015 Hellcat in 2 spaces to get to evaluated for a trade-in (I had an appointment). I didn't want to get too close to the new cars on either side. So I drove away

Westbury Dodge wanted $10,000 under the table for my 2012 Superbee - so the Hell with them.
Merrick Dodge made me take a cab home after I traded in my 2015 Hellcat for the new Redeye (both which I bought from them) after promising me a ride home (12 minute trip). If they pay the $40 for the cab ride I may forgive them. Otherwise, I will be banned from another Dealership. But Merrick Dodge is the most straight up in my opinion. Most others will never return your call. I called 5 others in L.I. and no one ever got back to me.

Mine was ordered on or about April 16th and I was notified that I had a VIN on the 19th. I was told to expect a delivery date of sometime in mid August which is more than perfect for me since I work overseas and will be taking my vacation around that timeframe.

I’m curious as well. I have one I picked up at the beginning of august. There can only be a couple hundred total. Everyone gets the Redeye challenger.
