How much is too much to pay for OEM widebody wheels?
I'm looking at a set of bronze slingshots but they're asking $2789. (shipped)
Which seems a bit steep.
What say you?

Just to give a comparison, back in spring I bought a set of barely used OEM widebody devils wheels for $1500. Just keep your eyes open. They weren't brass monkey though.

When I bought my REWB it had the gray FR74s on it and I wanted brass monkey FR74s. The dealer I purchased from is a friend and he sold me the wheels and factory tpms sensors at dealer cost and it was almost 5000 bucks. So I would say that's a good deal or fair deal at worst if they are in excellent condition.

Well...$2600 shipped.
I probably over paid.
I haven't seen any of this style wheel, that weren't replicas, in bronze for sale anywhere at any price
so... 🤷‍♂️

You got a good deal in my opinion. Like I said before, new these wheels are about 4k for a set of 4 without the factory TPMS sensors, maybe even $4500 for the slingshot style like these. They are MUCH better than any reps in every respect. These are forged wheels, not cheap cast stuff. Also finding Brass Monkeys in either the slingshots or the FR74s in like-new condition is pretty hard to do, the gray finish is much easier to find and cheaper.
