How much WHP from 10% Lower on a Redeye? Forza Stage 2 Build Started!

Hey Gents,

So I ordered my Hellcat Redeye Charger last year and had the dealer install 3.09 Gears and Nittos - which compared to my old 707hp Hellcat with 2.62s...was definitely noticably faster.

However, regardless of what I had read on many threads, the 3.09 gears (when installed without a tune) create issues with the cars match-revving during downshifts and other small quirks with shifting.

So, I've decided to bite the bullet and get the tuned. While I'm at it, I'm doing a mild build.

The car will be receiving

  • ATI 10% OD Damper
  • ER14S plugs
  • Mashimoto 180 Degree Thermostat
  • Forza Tuned Stage 2 Tune- and TCM tune.
  • Gates Belt

Please spare me the time starting a discussion about voided warranties - as I don't give a shit- financially its not a worry and regardless - I'm sure the motor/trans can handle it just fine.

My questions -

Is anyone running a 10% lower on a Redeye? What type of boost should I expect? RWHP numbers? 1/4 Time on 18'' Mickey Thompson ET-Rs?

Forza is junk you’re paying for a name, pretty standard mod though. Make sure they pin the crank. If you’re paying for a “special package”, they should be able to tell you around what it’ll make. Don’t they tune it on a dyno? If not I wouldn’t even waste my money, regardless if I had it to spare
Forza is junk? Have your ever been to his shop? Ever seen or driven in the cars he works on? Seen his workmanship?

you probably won’t see a more professional, cleaner and higher attention to detail shop in the country .

Brentons a friend and I’ll bet he knows a **** more than you do about these platforms - especially considering his wait list is a year and half .

Yep, I know nothing. And obviously he doesn’t either if he can’t give you expected whp figures. They don’t do anything special that all other shops don’t do. You pay for the name and the cool badging
he said 100whp over stock on a Redeye . I wanted to see what other people were getting, but nice assumptions chap.

Love the patronizing tone too. Thanks for teaching me about business big guy.
Waitlist year and a half?? Yeah I dont know about that. And if that is true, hes running that business into the ground. Nobody is waiting 18 months for boltons. There are far too many other shops around that can do this work at this level and do it quickly and probably cheaper.
If you’ve been to the shop there are cars there from Kuwait, UAE.

Most of the cars were Lambos, Ferraris , McClarens .
Yeah, lots of issues with people taking hellcats to shops that aren’t hellcat/Mopar experts.
Bro you are a tool.

Yes I’ve been by this shop. I’m local. Didn’t see any of that.
Try walking inside .

I always wanted to go with forza but I'm closer to HHP and for the money I can get more with them. If I was local I'd probably go forza for sure. He does know a good amount about our platform. Pretty sure he even designed some parts for the supercharger. I would make sure he pins the crank though. They do that I know for sure. Any way. Looking forward to whatever numbers you do get out of it. Make sure you post any slips or papers. Do you think you'll go back for the 4R package? Is it the 4R....... or 3R? I can't remember. They do put a nice suspension set up on there with the top + package.

Yes. Currently Im back in Vancouver. I live in Tampa area half the year.

We are doing the lower pulley, crank pin, thermostat and minor goods and a remote tune.

When I move full time to Florida next year, I'll go full Stage 4R (and then some- E85).

I thought Forza did lots of real high end cars, exotic euro stuff too. I mean, every shop I called prior to where I sent mine was a year out. I dunno, just htought I would chime in. Forza would not even talk to me about tuning my car before I sent it in for the 426 stuff. But, thats what name recognition does for you as a shop owner right? Makes it so you can pick and choose clients, take your time, or... just say no.

Not sure.
Every time I’ve been in Brenton’s shops there have been McClarens, Lambos, Ferraris, Vipers , Porsches…you name it .
