I've read on here about a few people getting $1000 off purchase with a USAA discount. Do you have to be ex military to get this discount or is there another way? I thought I had read somewhere that if a family member was in the military that you could get the discount, but when I go to the site it only indicates eligibility if the purchaser themselves was in the military.

I'm curious as well. I was able to sign up for USAA for when I go to their car buying service, it says "it is unavailable to me."

You have to be either in the military, or a dependent. It used to be exclusive to officers and family only. Now its opened up to enlisted.

Taking delivery tomorrow, using my USAA certificate. I used the buying service on the USAA website (expressly includes the Hellcat), built the car on the website then printed the certificate. MSRP minus $1000.

If you are having trouble, call USAA, if there is a way, they will help.

I tried using USAA and it doesn't pertain to exotic or high performance vehicles. I am retired military and no dealer would accept the USAA certificate. If you are buying a Camry it will work but not with a high performance vehicle. You have been duped!

Worked for me and my son (he took delivery of his Hellcat on 1/19 - search CU89) and I am picking mine up tomorrow (paperwork completed) Certificate I received expressly stated it was good for the Hellcat and the dealer gave me the $1000 credit no questions asked. Others have also received the credit - sorry you had no luck. JPEG of the certificate I used is attached.

This is a exclusive incentive between USAA and FCA. It is applicable to SRT and Hellcats per their web page. I have also verified this with USAA and my dealer that it is a valid incentive for Hellcats and that they will accept it.

This is a direct payment to the Dealership. Fill out certificate request and get form with offer code. Print, sign and take to dealer...dealer signs and submits and gets paid directly.

Outstanding! Thanks for the heads up. I just printed my redemption form. I tried the guaranteed pricing, but I couldn't get a dealer to bite. This doesn't come out of their pockets, which means I should get no push back.

You are correct....I got zero push back. The sales manager had never seen it before and was very surprised to see it. A lady in the main office could not believe it either.

I just printed off my certificate. My vehicle is supposed to go into production next Monday. My salesguy said he can't pull up any of the discounts available on my vehicle just yet because they are all VIN-specific. He says once the VIN can be entered the appropriate discounts should show up. I'm hoping... based on what I'm reading here from you guys... that this $1000 off certificate will work for my Hellcat. My salesguy said he's not sure at this point and exclusions could apply. Shouldn't be any exclusions if it's working for you guys.

I'll add my name to the list. Worked for me!

And do not believe them when the dealer says it will not work since he is not a USAA dealer.
It work with ALL dealers through an agreement between Chrysler and USAA.

Worked for me, 0 drama other than them wanting to call USAA to verify Hellcat applicable, which they did.

Is this a discount that shows up in the dealers computer when you're ready to pay? Is this how it worked for you guys?

If it doesn't come up in his computer, will my printout with the promo code be enough? Just tell them to call USAA or what? lol
