900 miles on my 21 Redeye. Ran full throttle and my hp gauge is only getting to 690 hp. I have tried everything. I leave it in drive so she shifts herself at redline. And I’ve tried sport, track, custom, no change. i did hit 705 along the cost with 68 degree temps And the chiller on lol. Now every time I get to a safe spot and test it, I run through and she just won’t make regular Hellcat power, let alone Redeye. I also check the dyno page, and it agrees it’s under 700. I have also tried multiple fuels. Chevron currently. No change between Costco and chevron BTW. Anyone else experience the car hp garage not making 797 at redline? I am hoping by 1500 miles, maybe the engine will loosen up? I have no codes and she pulls fine. Could this be an electric glitch? If anyone has experience please let me know what might be the cause. Car is bone stock.

Someone like this can REALLY benefit from larger radiator, aftercoolers, and aftercooler radiators, as I have before discussed.

As a dirt-cheap alternative, put a 20-gallon tank in the back, with water, and fine-spray it all over all your engine-related coolers at a relatively high gpm rate, and see what happens to your temps and output. It's pulling timing and dumping fuel like Abbot and Costello where one is yanking the rug out from under the other who is spilling a tureen full of coffee.

You know you are getting enough flow when your engine compartment is a bit wet after a run. If it isn't, you haven't maxed'er out yet. If you are flowing so much water, your rear wheels spin, from the water, not the extra power, then you are putting in too much OR not atomizing it sharply enough with a sufficiently-high-pressure pump. Remember to have no part of water lines above the spray bars, but always beneath, and put solenoids right up front on your water lines to prevent your tank draining by gravity when parked. You can have the water sprayers activated by a Nitrous button. :D

Don’t trust the accurate of all data ..My 2019
RE performance pages load slow, and are slow on response sometimes, so sometimes not a great gauge. It’s almost delayed, there is software updates dealer can do, also the other day for the first time it did a update it’s self, first time I seen it in 2 1/2 years…

Encountered something similar with my Porsche Turbo. Normal boost was 0.7 bar. I tried to see max boost but it only went to 0.6 bar. Might add the engine felt mighty strong even with just 0.6 bar of boost.

Talked to the techs at the dealer. What I was told is the engine controller seeks to deliver the torque demanded by the driver as signaled by the gas pedal (e-Gas type, drive by wire...).

If it can do this with just 0.6 bar of boost that's all I will see.

I took the car out again and picked a better spot up a grade to "test" boost. I managed to see it get to 0.7 bar but I really had to put my foot in it and hold the pedal down and the vehicle's speed really climbed.

Might add some years later in Wyoming I had a chance to drive the Turbo at elevations 8K and higher. At these higher elevations the boost reached 0.8 bar even one time 0.9 bar and these were not glitches. Techs told me that is this "normal". As long as other other operating conditions -- like poor gasoline -- don't interfere the engine controller is within some limit "free" to supply more boost to satisfy the torque demanded.

With my Hellcat I never saw the PP HP display reach 707hp. It to got up to in the high 600hp range.

HP is derived from torque and RPM. To reach 707hp I'd have to run the engine right up to near if not at max RPMs. But with the Hellcat there simply was no place I could safely and legally let it all hang out to the point the HP display could get to 707hp. I either ran out of road or courage or common sense returned and I backed out of the throttle. However, I'm sure the engine made the advertised HP.
