Recently had loss of power huge plume of smoke and oil running out of exhaust car still turned over but after checking oil and there was none on dipstick I am worried I blew up motor any ideas on what happened? Bent rod stuck valve?

Oh for starters, yes it sounds like it has a fundamental problem or two. Tell us more. Pictures of oil running out of the tailpipes would be priceless. So, when you hit the starter button what does it sound like, does it even run? If you pour more oil in, where does it come out?

Oil coming out the exhaust? Not a mechanic so I'll throw out some wild speculation: it sounds like the oil is backing up into the exhaust outlets, like the sweeps or valve guides are worn out? I assume the cats are junked now being full of oil? Hate to hear you are having this problem but fascinated to find out what the issue is.

Oil in the exhaust/coming out the back of the exhaust is normal, it’s used as lubricant for the catalytic converters to reduce friction and increase heat when burning off excess fuel. The smoke means the greenhouse gases are being cleansed thoroughly, like how you get smoke from burning residue off your grill. I’d be concerned if there was no smoke/oil coming out of the exhaust. Make sure oil is topped off, and also pull the upstream o2 sensors and use a fluid transfer pump and pump in half a quart of 5-w30 to lubricate the cats. 0w-40 is just for the engine, the cats require a different weight ti maintain efficiency. Hope this helps.

and Yes, I’m 100% joking. Do not pump oil into your cats. Sounds like something really bad man, hope your car is ok.

If there is oil coming out of the exhaust, that sounds more like busted ring lands or something.

If you lift a ring land how far would you have to drive to pump 2 qt oil as to not even be on stick?

If that were the case the engine would be smoking when he drove it as the oil burned off and it wouldn't affect the oil coming out the exhaust.
