2020 HC, less than 12,000 miles. Topped off the IC tank a couple weeks ago, and now it is another inch or so below the cold fill line. Wondering where the fluid is going? Is this an issue? Thanks!
Yes. To the dealer it must go.

If there are no external leaks around or on the back of the SC, then it's probably the Intercooler Brick(s) in the SC leaking into the motor and needs to go to the dealer for Warranty ASAP.

I saw another YouTube video where someone commented leaking Intercooler Bricks can & have happened.

That sounds bad. Does that mean the fluid is going into the engine?

@16GoManGoHC to chime in here . He had one leaking

Yes, they leak!! I had one dripping right over #2 cylinder. Would Leak mostly when shut off, it gets pressurized from boost while running and after shit off drips into the engine, can cause a hydro lock and bend rods so get it looked at ASAP!! Until then each time you run it and shut it off crack the cap on the intercooler tank release the pressure then close it up again as then while it’s cooling off it’ll shrink and make a vacuum in the system and keep the coolant from dripping inside the engine if that’s where it’s really going. They should pressure check each brick. I found mine when I pulled the blower off and found coolant on top cylinder 2 intake valve. On start up it used to fumble and want to stall until it cleared itself of the coolant then idle ok afterwards but it’s not good, get it solved ASAP before you hurt something else.
#2 is left front bank, zoom in on picture of engine with blower removed and you can see the pink/purple staining on the intake runner, look for that if and when they pull the blower off.

Wow! Thanks so much for the valuable advice. Going to take it to the dealer ASAP.

Interesting though, I changed the oil about 150 miles ago, and it still looks perfect. No sign of water or coolant at all on the dipstick.
Does this 'leak' get pulled thru the intake ports & go out the exhaust?

Going to take lots of pics before she goes to the dealer for repair. There better not be one scratch under the hood, or anywhere else.
I am so OCD about my baby. I HATE having to
do this. I'm sure you all can relate.:cautious:

A drip or seep would just be combusted & you would probably never know or feel any performance issues. Small amounts of water turn to steam & removes carbon deposits.

I was thinking earlier how fortunate you watched the Recovery Tank levels or you may not have caught the issue. I do the same.

Make sure you take your Red Fob & not the Black. It pisses them off if they think you don't trust them (not a joke). If you show trust, they'll respect your car. You can still take pics & note mileage, but the Red Fob makes a difference...

Really? I'm new to this Hellcat ownership, but I always thought that if you took your car to the dealership, you should use the black key fob. But, you bring up an interesting point. Thanks.

Nope, Red only. The service folks won't say anything, but they are watching & noting. I was told flat out once by the Svc Mgr. They noted, respected & appreciated the fact I gave them the Red one. Thus, we have a great rapport!

When I remembered to take a black key I put both the red and black key out on the counter and let the SA chose. He picked the black key. Other times all I had with me was the red key and that is of course what the tech got.

Yup, if you are losing SC coolant and your are under warranty take it to the dealership soon!
Mine: 2019 Hellcat Redeye with 2500 miles no mods. Intercooler leaking into 2 cylinders, scored the cylinders and caused them to lose compression. The engine is a total loss and being replace by Dodge. It started with a misfire code in cylinder 2. Then a slight "surge" feeling at idle when pulling into the garage. Now the engine is TOAST !

Do not let them "just" replace the blower. The leak likely caused cylinder damage and the engine will ultimately fail.
