From what I heard,, dodge can add nav to my radio, it just won't have all the features of the factory one
Can you elaborate on this? I did not order the NAV, but was wondering if its possible to upgrade to it in the future.

I noticed newer music is a bit louder and clearer not huge difference. All my music is downloaded from iTunes. Could be different based on how you download music. These Hellcats launch so hard, the CD's would skip like old vinyl records with scratches! (Actually, I too wish it had a CD player, just trying to add levity; I just got my first 21century device, solely because I found out the sad news about the lacking CD capability...my teen daughter has been loading this little mini-pod (or whatever it's called, I've never felt so feminine) with my discs (she has the bigger device, guess a maxi-pad, I don't go there!) I've heard it already through some headphones, sounds fine, but one big issue I have is that whenever a modern song comes on, it sounds fine (such as Lamb of God or System of a Down) but then randomly the next song will be vintage rock (Led Zep or Black Sabbath) and then it sounds way too quiet. I mean, I understand that the old albums aren't as high-fidelity, and have less output and dynamic range, but, shouldn't this 'modern technology' equalize it, so I don't have to adjust the volume for each song that comes up on shuffle??!? Is there some 'compression' or 'volume leveling' or some other such feature that will make all the songs sound similarly loud?
Just got to the dealership and pay the $500-$599 (forget exactly the price) and they will activate the Nav software and install it...it's exactly like the nav software that is already in the cars that come with Nav.Can you elaborate on this? Its funny, I made a point to get it cause I thought it was so important and I end up using my phone cause I get annoyed when it interrupts my music! Lol. Works great though when I do use it. Just the whole system is so darn slow...Just got to the dealership and pay the $500-$599 (forget exactly the price) and they will activate the Nav software and install it...it's exactly like the nav software that is already in the cars that come with Nav.
I transferred all my music to a 64GB USB drive with playlists...use the voice activation and it's all good. The bluetooth is good, but like you I hate the stops or pauses on texts and phone calls. If I turn off the notices it's fine, but not worth the loss of notifications. Its funny, I made a point to get it cause I thought it was so important and I end up using my phone cause I get annoyed when it interrupts my music! Yep, I just plugged in my 64gb iPod since it is too bulky to use at the gym. shut off all the other app notices and it works good. I still have the slow reaction time and get frustrated when I am scrolling through songs, but I keep hoping for another update soon!I transferred all my music to a 64GB USB drive with playlists...use the voice activation and it's all good. I keep a 2nd USB in the house and update it probably every two weeks and then swap it out it and bring the old one in the house to use next time. Works as a backup for my music and a lot less frustrating with better sound quality.
I will try. Not the same as in my Charger though. It was very responsive and quick to change songs. The dedicated USB drive and/or SD card - the faster the better, will give you better results. The speeds on newer cards are so much faster... don't cheap out, get the ultra fast versions. Try one from Wal-mart and if it doesn't work out for you, take it back.

You can probably get them online cheaper, but many fakes out there now to worry about.
