I'm in desperate need of cylinder heads for a 2016 challenger hellcat. Both sides of mine are cracked,I'm looking for just the bare cylinder heads. Does anyone know of a wrecked hellcat that might want to sell the heads i don't have a lot of money due to paying for my youngens college and having to take a different job for less pay and being a single parent. I'm changing the heads my self cause mechanics are outrageous, so if anyone knows anybody that has a set they would like to sell please let me know. I have checked around where I live with no luck, so I'm trying to reach out for help. Thanks in advance, my poor car really needs your help

With other brands of cars I have sought out businesses that specialize in salvage vehicles of the brand I owned. I have used said business to source used converters, and an instrument cluster.

I have no knowledge of any such businesses for Dodge cars and for Hellcats, but I believe they exist.

You can google for a business. Or go to a bookstore and in the magazine area go to the automotive magazine shelf and look for a car mag (or two) that are Dodge specific which should include the newer Challenger/Charger models and look for ads from businesses that specialize in Dodge salvage cars and parts. You should find one or more.

Give them a call and see if they have what you want/need and the price cost to ship and what if any warranty comes with the used heads.

The answer would have to come from a reputable automotive machine shop which has good experience welding heads, including Hellcat heads.

Not every engine that arrives at a salvage yard is a sealed/intact engine. Some have suffered engine problems or been damaged from the forces of a wreck. In these case the engine will be torn down and the salvage parts set aside to be sold separately. This can include the heads.

I have some heads that came off of a motor that kicked a rod. There is a little damage to cylinder 1 and a bent valve but nothing too crazy. I have a video if you are interested. They will need to be massaged by someone who does repair work on hemi heads before you put them in.

I got a couple sets of stock heads off a 2016 and 2018 motors. one is stock takeoff - 7600 miles. I might sell these. they are comlete with stock valves and springs. PM me if interested.
