Just order a new cover from a dealer. They don't cost that much.
I'll try that again. My dealer said I needed a part number. I assume he was just lazy and didn't want to look it up himself. Thanks.Just order a new cover from a dealer. They don't cost that much.
Does that mean you pried it off with a trim tool or a screwdriver or something? I rocked it back and forth a few times and couldn't get it to pop off. The roof was flexing quite a bit (it seems quite thin). I might just follow the suggestions of that other post and unbolt it from the inside. I'd be devastated if I dented the roof.Yep, just popped off, protect the surface paint with a rag or something. Had it wrapped to match and popped back on
Yes, it didn't seem to that hard. From the photo, it looks like the same cover. If it is not popping off, I would not press the issue. The other way going from the under side is the safer way. Sorry for late answer, was out enjoying my HC over the weekend.Does that mean you pried it off with a trim tool or a screwdriver or something?
