Damn. You gotta have lots of tickets or accidents...or be under 25. That sucks. Whatever it is, I'll pay it. Even though I've never had a claim and my last ticket (that I got caught) was 12 years ago.
No speeding tickets, but... A DUI. I don't think under 100$ a month is bad. The other higher ones are crazy though. I'd still pay it though

Hagerty Collector car insurance quoted me 1288 a year. I already have a couple vintage cars insured with them, or it would have been even higher. With no track record of underwriting Hellcat products, they said that's part of the reason the cost is so high.

Check with Hagerty, since this is a specialty vehicle they would probably insure it. They won't have driving restrictions other than that you don't use it as a daily driver. It would have to be garaged, and you also must have full coverage on your daily driver with any other carrier.

I never liked the restrictions on classic/collector car insurance, but when I first talked to them about my musclecar coverage, they told me they didn't care where I drove it or how often, as long as it wasn't my regular daily driver. The coverage came out to $100/year ($9k agreed upon value). I now have two cars insured with them and pay about $285/year (including flatbed roadside service). Granted, my cars aren't $65k, but for nearly $18k coverage it's only $200/year. Can't beat that.

Roughly 100 a month for driving months and 20 for storage months. Also remember not only driving record and geography make up your rates, but your credit also. Those with high credit balances seem to have more claims.

State Farm in NC told me about $75 a month more (I have a very clean driving record so not sure what it would be otherwise).

I hope I can keep my record clean, but I have a feeling that's not gonna happen once I take delivery. I give my self 2 weeks before ticket #1 shows up and only giving myself that because of the break-in period, lol.

Yes, my 2011 power wagon, my 2006 ram srt-10, my wifes 2010 grand caravan, the HC, and my snowmobile are insured through Erie. And yes you have to live in the state where the policy is. Erie only insures in certain states, that's how they keep premiums low.

Not sure, I think they are. Look to see if Erie has a website and go from there maybe. All of the vehicles previously mentioned total about $1800 for the year. Really unbeatable if you ask me.

I decided to shop around for when the Hellcat comes home in the next 2 weeks and I'm glad I did. I have been with Nationwide for 7 years and they are great, never really considered switching. I have a clean driving record and no accidents and right now, I'm paying $1,200 every 6-mo for the 2 vehicles I own. Adding on the Hellcat was going to increase it to $1,800! I just spoke to Geico, gave them my VIN's, including the Hellcat, and they can get my rates down to less than $900 every 6 months! If I move to them, I'll reduce my overall annual insurance costs by $600 even adding on a new $65K, 707HP car. ;)

I also checked with USAA and their rates with adding on the Hellcat were similar to Nationwide. Pays to shop around I guess.

Edit: Hellcat is listed as Pleasure vehicle and estimate 5-6K miles per year. Keeping my daily driver and my wife has a 2013 Buick Enclave she just got last year.

I also was with Nationwide until recently. Had three cars full coverage with two sons on policy. It was a little less than $220 a month. State Farm was $166 a month AND I got better coverage on the cars AND that price includes a $1 million umbrella policy. (Also saved about $150 a year on home owner insurance.) Glad I switched. I was with Nationwide for 30 years...

Don't have a VIN but my agent told me based on car value I was looking at about $75 more a month +/- $5. He also said he wanted a ride when it comes in. LOL
